Jennifer Hudson‘s drastic weight loss may no longer be breaking news, but the fashion plate says she’s constantly surprised by her slimmer figure.

“I just love fashion now,” she told Stylelist at the New York celebration for her recent Good Housekeeping cover on Tuesday. “It’s so much more flexible, and there are so many more options out there now. I feel like my own little Barbie doll — I get to dress myself up.” And with the lighter footprint also comes fancier footwork: “I hated heels before, but that’s all I wear now.”

And though everything looks good on her (just check out the three outfits she wore over the course of two days, above), her style philosophy is rather complex. “Because it’s a new body, I’m trying to find out, how do I want to be perceived?” she laments. “Who is this new me? I knew how to be the big girl, but now I have to find out how to be this girl.”

I’m SO sick of hearing her weight loss story!! I used to love her & her music- but every GD interview is about her weight. Ugh

I am happy for her she lost the weight. But it still doesnt change the fact she is a self absorbed diva who is majorly stuck on herself….

Celebrate our successes? We do. . .we have, enough already. If you’re that wrapped up in yourself & this one issue, ya make a pretty small package

Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes to me! Why not at least hope for the best that she stays thin and is successful??? People always feel the need to drag down others. I get maybe being sick of hearing about her, but it isn’t necessary to put her down or assume that she is going to fail!

STHU Already about your skinny. Go to a third world country and it won’t feel so good. Idiot.

If Ms. Hudson is having such a dilemna of trying to dress skinny, maybe she should just go back to her old habits, gain back the weight and then we won’t have to hear about her weight any longer. Terri was correct when she said that Ms. Hudson did not want to say how much weight she lost on Oprah and was probably PO’d when Oprah asked her anyways! Lastly, why is an oscar winning actress doing commercials to sell a product in the first place? Isn’t this sort of lowering her standards? Just a thought…
