Warm Up with Nicole Richie’s Winter Kate Collection for Spring

Informed by India’s rich color palette, Nicole Richie‘s spring 2012 Winter Kate collection is a warm weather fantasy wardrobe. ”I’ve always loved the possibility of being able to transform yourself through fashion,” the creative director says in a release.
The mostly silk collection boasts exclusive patterns and cultural motifs, like the elephant God Ganesh. Highlights include patterned shifts and tunics, the asymmetrical “Jazbaa” dress (above left) and a rose-colored, multi-tiered “Kamala” frock, modeled after the traditional Indian sari.
The Far East-inspired ready-to-wear and accessories ($78-$695) will be available at high-end department stores and online at Shopbop.com starting mid-February. Tell us: What do you think of Richie’s latest collection?
