Designers Imagine the Hunger Games’s Fiery Costume

Katniss Everdeen lights up the opening ceremonies of the Hunger Games in a daring pyrotechnic unitard the people of Panem love. And while we’ve all imagined what the dress might look like in our own minds, we’ll have to wait until the movie hits theaters to see the finished product.

However, InStyle decided to get ahead of the game, inviting designers to sketch their visions for Everdeen‘s fiery costume. Christian Siriano, Christian Cota and Charlotte Ronson (sketch at left) seem to stay truest to the book, though designs by The Blonds, Rachel Roy (who includes the teen’s Mockingjay pin in her ensemble) and Tadashi Shoji are equally impressive.

Ronson included a spot for Everdeen‘s treasured bow and arrows in her design, and wanted the cape to “appear like a fire running through the forest.” Head on over to instyle.com to see all 12 designer interpretations, and tell us: How do you envision Everdeen’s opening ceremonies look?

Heidi Klum’s Budget Shopping Secret

She has major designers and Project Runway alumni dying to dress her, but Heidi Klum still appreciates a good deal.

“Sometimes it’s really cool to have an amazing piece where someone is like, ‘Wow, where is that sweater from? It’s amazing. Is it from snazzy Balenciaga or something?’” she tells Anderson Cooper on Anderson Friday. “And you’re like, ‘No, it’s actually from J. Crew.’”

Sneak a Peek at Selena Gomez’s First Fragrance Campaign Pic

She’s all wet! Selena Gomez is taking a dip in the campaign photos for her first-ever fragrance — and we have a sneak peek.

Submerged in a water tank at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood, the starlet, in a flowing mini, “reflects the actual fragrance bottle,” according to a release. Her dress is designed to move with the water, too. What the actual photo and video will look like remains to be seen — we’ll have to wait until the scent’s spring 2012 debut.

“I’m excited, [because] it’s something I’m interested in … I’m already doing the whole process of smelling things and designing it and the campaign and everything, so it’ll be fun,” Gomez told E! when announcing plans for the scent. “I am excited to make my own fragrance that is romantic, rich and sweet — I wanted to make a fragrance that is able to make my fans feel special,” she added to WWD.

Mario Lopez Strips Down, Shows Off His New Underwear Line

Is it hot in here, or is it just Mario Lopez? PEOPLE’s former “Hottest Bachelor” is stripping down — again! — as the face of his very own underwear line, RatedM.

“I’d always wanted to get into the apparel and fitness world, and I thought, ‘Why don’t I just start my own [line]?’” he tells WWD.

The collection, developed with the masterminds behind 2(x)ist, includes three styles: elementary, boxers and briefs made of a cotton/polyester/spandex blend; atelier, offering a “conversational waistband” and shirts with adjustable hems; and play, intimates made with a sleek combination of mesh and single-kit jersey.

Audrina Patridge Leaving Bongo, Launching Namesake Collection

It seems like only yesterday that Audrina Patridge was revealing her life-size Bongo billboard on Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard, but after serving as the brand’s spokesmodel for two years, the former reality star is hanging up her body-hugging bikinis and jeans.

“Nothing lasts forever, so it’s all good,” she tells PEOPLE of splitting from the company. “It’s been two years, so it’s almost like a little family. The whole crew has been amazing — they made it really fun for me to work with them and travel. They were always so creative and they always made it special.”

Patridge isn’t parting ways with the fashion world, though; she tells PEOPLE she’s planning a line of her own for next year. “I’m already looking into either lingerie or bikinis,” she reveals. “I’m really excited about that.”

Just a few weeks ago, 20-year-old Scout Willis stepped out in a jaw-dropping and sophisticated scarlet column dress at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes at Paris’s Hotel Crillon. Now she’s making jaws drop again — but for a very different reason. The daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis swapped satin for ultra-revealing suede chaps to cruise bare-bottomed on a motorcycle in a just-released video for creative online portal, StyleLikeU.

In the racy video (below), the Brown University student reads emotionally laden prose she wrote herself and explores the California canyons in a series of punk-inspired ensembles before revealing her rear on the back of the bike. The chaps are vintage The Way We Wore, and Willis pairs them with an oxford shirt, boots and her own coyote pelt.

Julianne Hough Enjoying Her Bold Beauty Moves

Julianne Hough always looks radiant on the red carpet, but the Footloose star insists that wasn’t always the case.

“When I started Dancing with the Stars, that’s when I started getting acne,” she told PEOPLE at her latest shoot for Proactiv in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “Makeup, lights and sweating definitely took a toll on my skin.”

After being introduced to Proactiv (the cleansing bar and refining masks are two of her staples), Hough’s skin finally cleared up. Her beauty routine now includes washing her face twice a day, “hydrating with water, getting enough rest and putting good food” in her body, she shared.

And now that the star is blemish free, she has more time to play with her looks.
