What’s on Taylor Swift’s Christmas List?

With her Speak Now tour over, Taylor Swift is enjoying some downtime in Nashville, catching up with family, reconnecting with friends — and creating homemade snow globes.

“That was my first time making snow globes out of mason jars, antique Christmas trinkets and glitter,” she tells PEOPLE of her recent holiday experiment. “I found out how to do it on Pinterest. It made for a lovely winter activity day — [it] made me feel like a little kid again.”

From the sounds of it, Swift — who turns 22 today — will spend a lot of time reflecting on her childhood this season, considering her favorite family tradition is trimming “a big Christmas tree” with ornaments she and brother Austin made as kids. “It’s so nostalgic,” she says, “looking back at all the Christmases past and comparing them to how different our lives are now.”

“Now” means living life as a recording artist, being a recipient of CMT’s “Artist of the Year” award Tuesday night and releasing her first fragrance, Wonderstruck. “It turned out to be something I wear every day, and I’m so proud of how well it’s done,” she says of the scent. “I love it when people come up to me and tell me they wear it every day.”

Rachel Zoe’s Son Has Up to 100 Pairs of Shoes

Stylist turned TV star turned new mom, Rachel Zoe, has a love-hate relationship with heels.

“I used to live in New York, so I ran all over from place to place just like everybody else,” she tells Daily Front Row. “I was dashing to an appointment somewhere, the sidewalk was raised, and it caught my shoe. The heel just snapped right off.”

That said, her passion for fancy footwear outweighs any residual trauma. “The shoes I first coveted were when Tom Ford was designing for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent,” she recalls with nostalgia. “I don’t think I even wore them. I just wanted to look at them. I mean, they basically are art.

Not that it hurts to have friends in high places. “Brian [Atwood] is just the most deliciously kind person,” she gushes of her designer pal, whom she recently lauded for the launch of celeb-adored collection, B Brian Atwood. “It’s weird how much I love him. I like to say that we’re soulmates.”

The One Outfit Emma Roberts Won’t Be Wearing at Age 50

Though many 20-year-olds spend their days dressed in ironic T-shirts and distressed denim, Emma Roberts is generally outfitted in designer duds and party dresses. But she admits that she does have a bit of an inner slob.

“I think when you’re young it’s all about being comfortable,” she told PEOPLE recently at the Rebecca Taylor boutique opening in Los Angeles. “When I’m older, I’m probably going to have to look much more put together. At least that’s what I imagine.”

The fashionista — also a face of Neutrogena — said that age is an excuse to dress down a bit. “I like to be a little more disheveled — I like throwing on a motorcycle jacket with a gown because I’m young, and I can,” she shared. “When you’re young it’s much more fun to mix and match, do that kind of hobo-chic look.”

That’s Hot! Keith Urban Picks a Steamy Commercial Contest Winner

Sex sells! After running a month-long contest to find the perfect commercial for his first fragrance, Phoenix, Keith Urban picked the winner recently, a steamy commercial by Littleton, Colo., resident Eric Noffsinger.

The 30-second spot, set to Urban’s song “Raining on Sunday,” stars actress Julie Lundy, who strips down and then suits back up in her boyfriend’s shirt, which carries the scent of Phoenix. It’s almost as sexy as the spoof Urban filmed with Ellen DeGeneres in October. (Kidding!)
