Why Kendall Jenner Can’t Wait to Walk the Runway Again

Kendall Jenner Teen Prom

Kendall Jenner is going to prom! The up-and-coming model graces the pages of TeenPROM‘s 2012 issue, dishing on everything from her once-introverted ways (“I used to be really shy around the cameras,” she admits) to her beauty secrets (at 16, she’s already wearing eye cream nightly, thanks to advice from her sisters).

But what the reality star really loves to talk about is fashion. Mentioning that she draws style inspiration from sibs Kourtney, Kim and Khloé, Jenner admits she used to dislike high heels. “I was so tall, and would tower over everybody, but now I actually love them,” she shares. “Height doesn’t really matter to me anymore. I feel wearing heels makes everything look better.”

Reflecting on outfits past — “Kyile and I used to wear the craziest stuff on our show when we were younger,” she confesses — the teen fashion queen doesn’t seem to have a favorite designer or style of dress. “Honestly, I wear whatever stands out to me,” she says, adding, “I love color. [It] stands out a lot more.” (She also loves jewelry; WWD reported Tuesday that Jenner and sis Kylie will launch their own line of gems in 2012.)

Brad Goreski‘s new series It’s a Brad, Brad World already promises lots of fashion, fun and of course, drama. But in an exclusive clip from the show, which premieres Jan. 2 on Bravo, Goreski addresses his biggest professional debacle — his split from stylist Rachel Zoe — head-on.

“We don’t speak to each other. I would love to be able to speak with her,” he states, adding that people often ask if he’s met her son, 9-month-old Skyler. His answer? “I have not seen the baby because I have not been invited.”

The Secret Behind Vanessa Minnillo’s Thick and Healthy Hair

Vanessa Minnillo Hair Secrets
Fame

When Vanessa Minnillo auditioned to be the host of ABC’s Wipeout, she landed the job with ease. But producers did have one concern about the newlywed‘s look.

“They told me, ‘You might need to change your hairstyle,’” she recalls to PEOPLE. “I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ And they showed me my audition tape, and when it got to a certain part of the day, I literally looked like I had a huge bald spot — my hair was thin on the front of my scalp.”

After a minor freak-out — “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh I’m that girl now. I’m 30, I’m losing my hair, getting adult acne, what is happening?’” she recalls — she turned to her hair stylist, Betsy Reyes, who suggested Nioxin‘s new hair-thickening spray, Diamax (available in February). “I’m obsessed with it,” Minnillo says of the product, designed to keep the scalp healthy. “It’s not a gimmick — it’s a treatment that’s topical that works immediately. It’s genius.”

Hats off to Kate Winslet for making the act of giving that much more beautiful. After lending her voice to the documentary A Mother’s Courage: Talking Back to Autism, Winslet founded the Golden Hat Foundation, named after a featured poem of the same name.

“Lancôme has given me the strength to go all the way, and I know this will open many doors,” the brand ambassadress says of the company’s Golden Hat range. Comprised of holiday-ready luminous powders, moisture-rich lipsticks and five new shades of nail polish, the collection “is so stunning and gorgeous and perfect for now,” Winslet tells Stylelist. “I mean, the colors are really festive.”

Ranging from $15-$40, the products, which are embossed with the foundation’s signature hat, help to promote awareness for children afflicted with non-verbal autism. (The actress has also spearheaded a book initiative of the same name, which features a slew of celebs all wearing the same golden topper.)

Olivia Wilde Makeup Secrets

Rich auburn hair, kohl-rimmed eyes and chiseled cheekbones may describe Olivia Wilde now, but the new face of Revlon has had her fair share of beauty blunders.

“I’ve been having my makeup done professionally for 12 years, but I still don’t know how to contour my eyes,” she tells FASHIONetc. “I could never put fake lashes on myself; it would be such a disaster! They would end up in my eyeball.”
