We can’t afford the off-the-runway Prabal, Prada and Pucci our favorite stars wear to red-carpet events, but what if they were available secondhand? Now you’re talking! The Real Real, an online consignment shop, is selling dozens of high-fashion dresses and accessories worn by celebrities, and 85 percent of proceeds from sales will benefit a great cause.

The sale starts Thursday at 10 a.m. ET, and includes Diane von Furstenberg from Jennifer Garner, a Rachel Zoe collection gown, Haute Hippie from Kourtney Kardashian, a Rebecca Taylor dress from 90210‘s Shenae Grimes (above, right) and a Alessandro Dell’Acqua number from Courteney Cox (above, left). “I love the fit and color of this dress,” Cox tells PEOPLE. “I loved wearing it.”

Other goodies include a Dolce & Gabbana clutch donated by Miley Cyrus, a gown Chris Benz designed for Glee‘s Dianna Agron, two Tory Burch handbags and a Monique Lhuillier blouse from Jamie-Lynn Sigler — plus much more.

Rihanna Confesses: I Like Being Blonde!

In newly released footage from Armani’s lingerie and jeans fall 2011 video shoot, Rihanna somehow manages to make rehearsal look risqué.

Blocking the dimly lit scene in teetering heels, the star talks newly lightened locks: “We did a whole transformation,” she says in her trademark Bajan lilt. “So now I’m a blonde and not redhead anymore — and I like it!”

Watch as Rihanna gets her makeup done, listens intently to direction and practices wriggling into — and out of! — those skintight jeans.

Scarlett Johansson Refused to Wear Makeup for ‘We Bought a Zoo’

Scarlett Johansson: No Makeup in We Bought a Zoo

At the New York premiere of We Bought a Zoo, Scarlett Johansson’s skin shimmered with glacier-blue shadow and baby pink gloss: a far cry from her character, who shuns the stuff entirely.

To play an animal caretaker alongside Matt Damon in what she calls a “decrepit Grey Gardens of a zoo,” Johansson felt that the audience wouldn’t believe her in the role if she were wearing fake eyelashes and lip plumper. Hence, a strict adherence to a no-makeup policy, she tells Vanity Fair.

And this isn’t the first time the 27-year-old has augmented her looks for a role: Jon Favreau, who directed the star in Iron Man 2, tells the magazine, “Scarlett was not the logical first choice for the Black Widow,” but when she auditioned for the role, “she had red hair. She said, ‘I wanted to show you that I was serious.’

“She’s uniquely beautiful,” he continues. “She’s smart and talented. That’s a tough combo to beat.”

Since getting engaged to longtime love Adam Shulman in November, Anne Hathaway has been pretty good at keeping her gorgeous engagement ring out of the spotlight. But at the premiere of The Iron Lady in New York on Tuesday, the actress’s sparkler nearly stole the show — and we finally got a decent look at the goods.

Hathaway’s emerald-cut ring, set on a thin diamond-studded band, was designed in part by Kwiat jewelers, whose diamonds are certified conflict-free. “Adam did work with us to design a ring that he knew Anne would love,” owner Greg Kwiat told PEOPLE at the time of the engagement. “He had a very strong vision for what he knew Anne would love.”

Shulman’s expertise was probably welcomed by Kwiat; as it turns out, the part-time actor is also a jewelry designer. In conjunction with business partner Heidi Nahser Fink, Shulman owns James Banks Designs, a small company that offers  handcrafted light bulb pendants and whimsical butterfly necklaces. Tell us: Do you love Hathaway’s engagement ring?

Matthew McConaughey Shaves His Head!

Matthew McConaughey Hair
London Entertainment/Splash News Online

Matthew McConaughey stepped out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday sporting a T-shirt, baseball cap — and totally bald head! Though he concealed his shiny scalp underneath his j.k. livin hat, it was quite obvious the star had shaved off all of his golden curls — but the smile on his face said he didn’t seem to care.

On Saturday, McConaughey was spotted on the Los Angeles set of his latest film, Thunder Run, with a full head of hair — so why the change? It’s the first time he’s made a major modification to his luscious locks since 2008, when he debuted a super-short buzz cut.

Obviously McConaughey, one of PEOPLE’s former Sexiest Men Alive, can do no wrong, but personally, we’re going to miss those cute curls. Tell us: What do you think of the actor’s new look?
