Scarlett Johansson Doesn’t ‘Slop Around’ in Sweats

After refusing to wear makeup in We Bought a Zoo, Scarlett Johnasson reveals that when she’s not portraying a character, she’s actually quite fond of putting on a face.

“I always like to put a little bit of makeup on,” she tells Style.com. “I’m not the kind of person that just slops around in sweatpants. I like to feel a little more together — you never know who you’re going to see out there!”

“My absolute must-have is a really rich and vibrant red lipstick,” she reveals of the look that has become synonymous with her red-carpet bombshell motif. “I always keep red lipstick in my bag because I never know when I might show up to an event and be completely underdressed. I feel like red lipstick is the cure-all for everything.”

Other things that make her feel beautiful include reverting to her natural hair color (“I’m naturally blonde so I feel most like myself when I’m blonde”) and a good, old-fashioned honey facial. Yup, a honey facial. “I use Manuka honey,” she reveals. “You just warm your face so that your pores are open (you can steam your face right after getting out of the shower), and then you just take a spoon and apply the honey directly to your face and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.”

The result? “It really adds an amazing glow and your skin is so soft afterwards. It pulls out the impurities.”

Wow, must be nice. You’re so much better than all of us who ‘slop around in sweatpants’. Sorry after working 50+ hour workweeks where we don’t live the glamorous life in Gucci, limousines and champagne, we’d like to relax in comfortable clothes. Thanks for making me realize I should be ashamed, Miss Nobody.

That’s BS -I’ve seen plenty of photos of her dressed down. She’s someone who really isn’t much of anything and every so often she seems to feel the need to say something silly to get attention.

Really? If Scarlett had any kind of talent we would not be reading about how she feels she is above wearing sweat pants.

I don’t think she is a good actress and I don’t think he looks are anything more than average…You don’t wear sweats, good for you, you’re shallow and insecure.

I agree. I think sweats are sloppy.

Great comment Kelsey, I so agree with you. Nothing wrong with wearing some sweats!! We live in the real world…we dress up too sometimes but nothing wrong with comfy clothes!! I think she is overrated as an actress too like so many of them are!!

Wow, such bitterness I’m reading today. Since I seriously doubt any of us know her, nobody can judge what she’s like in person. And good for her for not walking around like a slob. Neither do I. It doesn’t take anymore effort to put on some decent looking clothes than it does to grab yucky sweats. You go girl!

I’m wearing sweats as I type this and do not feel as if they are a handicap to me sitting about the house. What a silly girl.
