Cotton to Showcase 24 Hours Worth of Fashion in Miami

Giuliana RancicTony DiMaio/Startraks

We know the fashion world never sleeps — figuratively — but a select group of fashionistas literally won’t be sleeping this weekend during Cotton‘s 24-hour runway show in Miami. From noon Saturday until noon on Sunday, models will walk the runway one per minute (1,440 times!) showing cotton looks appropriate for every hour of the day, from “Modern Glam” nighttime ensembles to easy “Sunday Brunch” styles. E! News anchor and Fashion Police star Giuliana Rancic is hosting the event, which will feature guest appearances from a slew of style stars and celebrity DJs. “I grew up with the ‘Fabric of Our Lives’ campaign, so I am really excited to be a part of this unique extension of it,” Rancic said in a release. “It is going to be amazing to see a full day of cotton style coming down the runway.” Catch the event via livestream on MTV.com.

Designer Carolina Herrera: The ‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Dress ‘Had to Be Magical’

Reviews of the film are in, but how about reviews of the wedding dress? So far, not much has been said about the much-anticipated Breaking Dawn wedding gown, but designer Carolina Herrera certainly hopes fans love it.

“I worked on that dress for like six months going back and forth,” she told E! on Monday night at the film’s Los Angeles premiere. “I still have all the sketches and everything because it was so special.”

She has every top designer falling at her feet, but Heidi Klum always makes a point of supporting her favorite Project Runway alumni when she’s walking the red carpet. To celebrate some of the show’s brightest stars, she’s picked a few of her favorite looks from auf’d (and winning) contestants, highlighting them on her website.

Top billing goes to a dreamy Christian Siriano creation Klum wore while hosting the 60th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. “I thought this was such a unique and different dress,” she writes. In fact, gowns by Siriano make up nearly half of the list — a testament to the season 4 winner’s talent and growing popularity.

Ashley Greene ‘Immediately Said Yes’ to DKNY Jeans Gig

Ashley Greene DKNY

Dazzling in a red custom-made Donna Karan gown at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, Ashley Greene told PEOPLE she was “so excited” to be the new face of the designer’s DKNY and DKNY Jeans lines.

“I immediately said yes,” she said about the offer to endorse them. “I previously had a bit of a relationship with Donna Karan to begin with. It’s just a very organic fit.” In fact, she wore dresses by the designer to the Met Costume Institute Gala and a New York City screening of Breaking Dawn as well.

But Greene, also a face of Mark cosmetics, doesn’t only appreciate DKNY’s looks, but the designer behind them, as well.

“I actually really do love her clothes, and I feel like she’s a very empowered woman,” Greene, who will appear in the brands’ spring 2012 ad campaigns, added of Karan. “It just kind of fits right in with everything that I’m a part of already.”

When your future father-in-law is Ralph Lauren, you know your wedding dress is going to be pretty spectacular. But to newlywed Lauren Bush Lauren, getting to watch the design process unfold was almost as great as the gown itself.

“Any experience of a girl picking out her wedding dress is amazing,” she says in the December issue of Vogue. “But I have to say it was really special to work with [husband David Lauren's] dad, to see him in action with his team.” (Ralph also designed daughter Dylan’s dress for her June nuptials; she shared her photos in Vogue, as well.)

Emma Stone Thinks She ‘Looked Like an Alien’ at the Golden Globes

Emma Stone, who consistently charms fashion critics with her cheeky-glam red carpet choices, says finding her own look took some trial and error.

“There was a time where I could not stand the pale,” the newly-minted face of Revlon admits to Stylelist of growing up fair-skinned. “It’s built into my DNA to think tan is incredible.” Taking matters into her own hands, she spent years trying to spackle together a convincing glow: “It was like a splotchy, streaky mess of a situation.”

Now, at 23 years old, Stone has mastered the basics. “Probably the top three things would be: moisturize, sleep and work on the eyebrows,” she tells BellaSugar. “Those are the three things I try to focus on in my daily life!”

And with newfound access to beauty bounty, her list of favorite things continues to grow. “They let you try out all of these products,” she gushes of working with Revlon. “Grow Luscious [mascara] was the first one that I was kind of like, okay this one is not leaving me.” Other must-haves include a spectrum of punchy pink lip colors — a beauty trend with which she is often credited for reviving. “I never know the shade name so it would be hard to tell you my favorite, but I love fuchsias and really, really bright pinks,” she shares.
