Blink and You’ll Miss It: Beyoncé Reveals Her Wedding Gown

Her 2008 wedding to now-husband Jay-Z was a closely guarded secret, but Beyoncé is revealing a glimpse of the big day — a two-second glimpse — in her new video for the emotional single “I Was Here.”

Toward the end of the four-and-a-half-minute clip, which appears on vevo.com, the singer shares brief front and back shots of her flowing white wedding dress, which has never been seen publicly. The exaggerated sweetheart gown appears to have an elaborate fitted back with layers of fine fabric and a long train.

The rest of the video features major moments in Beyoncé’s life: meeting luminaries such as Nelson Mandela, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and Oprah Winfrey; performing as a youngster and later as a member of Destiny’s Child; joining Jay-Z on stage in concert; and revealing her baby bump at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. She sings, “I wanna say I lived each day until I die,” and from the looks of this video, so far, she definitely has.

Listen people- tbis so called artist is a complete sham. She has ripped off everybody’s music, style, and created gimicky music @ best and packages and re-packages it and “fans” gobbles it up. SHe has added nothing to the overall quality to the genre. Her latest album is horrible and she has released all the songs and videos at once- so consumers don’t even have a chance to “blink” before something else is released. Now the “long awaited wedding dress” who cares- oh but she does- maybe if you focus on that you will “blink” and might miss the junk she has is peddling.

Give it up and GO AWAY! Your time has definitely come and gone…you and your “husband” should slink away into obscurity. Bye. And if we “blink” long enough you just might disappear from the scene.

Well her face does look quite different but that’s the no-make-up look! I am not a big fan as I find there is too much hype and not enough substance re her talent but she seems to be a very genuinely nice and well-intentioned person. There are so few like her in the music biz. And seems like a true and loving marriage. To maintain those values while living under the pressure to produce more hits and not letting the $$ go to their heads — they get points for that.

Actually, it’s her without all the makeup & weave. Same with Kardashian, J LO, Longoria & the rest. They look like different people when they take off the make up & hair extensions. It’s crazy because they are so beautiful to begin with, so one wonders why they cake it up like that! God knows only person who needs that much make up is Oprah & it’s OK, I can say it coz am a sister:-) Poor Oprah needs all the help she can get with her face but boy — does she have gorgeous hair! Her hair is just so full & healthy & bouncy, most people actually think it’s a weave!

this has got to be one of the most attention seeking individual in the game. She has copied every artist imaginable, she had stolen music, choreography and tried to pass it off as her own. It’s such a shame that people believe in this fake fraudulant woman and given her the credit of being a trailblazer and trendsetter when everything she done has been remanufactured and copied. She has done nothing more than what Tina Turner has done and tried to take credit for that, now she’s trying to become a dancer something that Janet Jackson still holds as the queen of dance and then she’s had the audacity to mock Diana Ross at points.

While I am not a Beyonce “fan”, I have enjoyed some of her songs and think she’s a gorgeous woman. It’s surprising that she’s revealed SO much of herself now than ever before (baby announcement, wedding dress, etc.). She honestly has worked very hard for her success and deserves all of the accolades she receives. Moving forward, I hope she slows down and enjoys the “normal” things in life. Having a baby changes everything. Best wishes to her and her husband.

I love Beyonce and all, but, but, she’s just trying to take our minds off of the fake pregnancy. I believe she has a surrogate carrying her baby and she decides to gain weight to make others think she’s carrying the baby. That was an amazing video. I am so jealous, and yet proud of her. She had some amazing breaks, but she has risen above the distortion that fame can bring and has kept true to her art. Must be nice to lead such an extraordinary life. I enjoyed the video. Beyonce isn’t the best that ever did it and she’s obviously influenced by Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, etc., but I’ll take her and her music over many of these knuckleheads you hear on the radio. I’m not a huge Beyonce fan but I respect her work and I think she is extremely talented. I have to say – that song and video brought me to tears. It showed just a few moments in her life but also showed how much this woman has accomplished. Her parents should be so proud. I have a new found respect for Beyonce – she is pretty amazing.

Its amazing how many people have something negative to say. I understand freedom speech and hey more power to you. But heres my thing you do realize that the comments posted in no way shape of form affect her or her husband. Im pretty sure not everyone is a fan of those with the negative comments. Not everyone has to like a person but dont go out of your way to put someone down. I dont understand, if I dont like a celebrity I dont comment bc at the end of the day it makes no difference. There are others who admire them. Its amazing how we bring each other down, and feed into the media hype. How well do you know that theres fake baby bump or fake anything?!
