Emma Roberts’s New Haircut: Inspired by Jennifer Aniston?

Emma Roberts HairDonato Sardella/WireImage (2)

Last week, Emma Roberts chopped several inches off of her blonde hair, debuting a layered bob with lots of volume. And according to InStyle.com, the look was inspired by none other than Jennifer Aniston, who famously chopped her locks earlier this year.

In February, Roberts Tweeted that she was “OBSESSED with Jennifer Aniston’s new short hair!! I want it!” Fast-forward 10 months, and stylist Chris McMillan — who, coincidentally, cuts Aniston’s hair — is trimming Roberts’s tresses on the set of her latest Neutrogena ad shoot. (Beau Chord Overstreet got the first few snips on video.)

Though Roberts may have drawn inspiration from Aniston’s look, McMillan says the stars’ styles are actually quite different. “They’re both gorgeous, versatile cuts,” he tells InStyle.com. “Jennifer’s was one length all around with no bangs. Emma has long, soft layers and an uneven razored perimeter. She also has long, grown-out bangs that swoop to the side.” That extra dimension in Roberts’s look makes it extremely wearer-friendly; as McMillan says, “there are tons of fun ways to work it.” Tell us: Do you like Roberts’s look?

Seems when we get older our hair gets shorter. Not a drastic change for her; looks good.
