Have Jessica Simpson's Christmas Tree in Your Home this Holiday

This holiday season, skip the hassle of choosing a Christmas tree and just let a celebrity do the work for you. That’s the thinking behind Macy’s first-ever Celebrity Tree Auction, launching Thursday and benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The auction — part of Macy’s annual “Believe” campaign — features holiday trees designed by 14 of Macy’s biggest stars, including Jessica Simpson (left), Martha Stewart, Diddy, Donald Trump and more. Each is a playful take on the creator’s aesthetic: Simpson’s features gold-wrapped branches adorned with pearls; Stewart’s is topped with gingerbread cookies and candy canes; Diddy’s Sean John tree is covered in rhinestones; and Trump’s is made of gold bullion bars, naturally. We also love Emeril Lagasse’s tree, composed of pots and pans. Additional trees were created by Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Rachel Roy, Kenneth Cole, the Material Girl team, Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors and Greg Norman.
Once bidding ends on Dec. 2, trees will be delivered to each winner, with full setup included. And the best part is that 100 percent of the purchase price will benefit Make-A-Wish. Can’t afford a full tree? Each designer also created an ornament for the holiday season; 10 percent of profits from each $9.99 decoration will benefit Make-A-Wish, too. And through Dec. 24, visit any Macy’s location and write a letter to Santa, and know that the store will donate one dollar to Make-A-Wish on your behalf.
Bid on the Celebrity Trees now on charitybuzz.com, and if you’re in New York City this season, see the trees in person at Macy’s Herald Square.
