Lauren Conrad Styles Hospitalized Teens for the Holidays

‘Tis the season to go shopping! Lauren Conrad hit the mall recently, browsing racks stocked with the latest from her namesake line for Kohl’s. But she wasn’t shopping for herself — the former reality star was helping to style four teens from the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for the holidays.

“It’s really nice to be able to give back,” Conrad says in the clip above. “The feeling of giving a really good gift is so amazing … I can’t imagine getting a gift and feeling this way, especially with something like this.”

Designers Aren’t Clamoring to Dress Elizabeth Olsen … Yet

Elizabeth Olsen

She’s made quite the impression on the red carpet this year, but Elizabeth Olsen hasn’t had much help dressing for the numerous premieres and film festivals surrounding her new movie, Martha Marcy May Marlene.

“I haven’t met anyone who’s like, ‘I’m dying to dress you,’” Olsen, who’s often styled by Cher Coulter, told FabSugar Monday night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City. When asked if she knew of any designers trying to get their hands on her, she responded, “I have no idea, maybe. I don’t think so … I’m not sure.”

However, with the Oscar buzz surrounding the starlet — she was nominated for the breakthrough actor award Monday, but lost to Like Crazy star Felicity Jones — it seems she’ll have plenty of opportunities to dress in designer duds for the rounds of awards shows and future film premieres to come.

When Mary J. Blige greets fans, they often tell her what perfume they’re wearing — because it’s usually one of hers. “[It happens] all the time,” she tells PEOPLE. “They say, ‘I’m wearing your fragrance, girl!’ It feels so good.”

Blige shattered HSN single-day sales records last year when she sold her first scent, My Life, on the shopping network, and she’s aiming to do it again Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET when she performs live and sells her newest scent, My Life Blossom. “It feels so good,” she says of her success on the channel. “I never in a million years thought I would be on HSN selling fragrances but it’s something that I love and it just feels like a great accomplishment to put your heart and soul into something to give to women.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: ‘I Was a Bit of an Ugly Betty’

It’s hard to imagine Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as anything but gorgeous, but the model admits she wasn’t always so camera-ready. “I was a bit of an Ugly Betty when I was 15,” she tells Harper’s Bazaar. Instead of working in front of the camera, she was behind the scenes at a modeling agency, “getting coffee, lighting people’s cigarettes,” the Devon, England, native says.

Things obviously changed, and at 18 the stunner moved to New York and landed a deal with Victoria’s Secret, and a few years later, Burberry. “To be 21, working with Mario Testino and Christopher Bailey, it was a milestone moment,” she shares.

Another milestone? Sporting those Victoria’s Secret wings. “I’d love to wear them for a fancy-dress party sometime,” she says. Although it’s not as if they’re at the ready. “People assume I have wings hanging all over my house, but that is not the case,” she jokes. She might wish it was so, though. “People kind of laugh about it and think it’s irrelevant, but I don’t know a girl in the world who would put those wings on and not feel, just for a split second, very special.”
