Get the Look: Brooke Charvet’s Sleek ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Pony

Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars elimination was a shocker — goodbye, Kristin Cavallari! — but what wasn’t so shocking? Seeing Brooke Charvet looking chic on the dance floor in a crystal-covered Mandalay gown. We particularly loved her hairstyle on Monday night’s show: a sleek, straight pony pushed to one side.

So just like last week, we asked the stylists at Hotheads how to achieve her look at home. Just follow these steps from stylist Sheenon Olson:

“To get this look you will want to work with a smoothing product such as Oribe’s Supershine, which will add moisture to the cuticle,” he tells PEOPLE. “If your hair tends to feel dry on the ends, Shu Uemura’s Essence Absolute will hydrate dry ends, leaving you with a really polished blowout.”

To attain the shiny, pin-straight look, “a boar-bristle brush with nylon quills will give you the tension and polishing you need to smooth the hair and get the shine you see in Brooke’s hair,” Olson says. “I start my sectioning from the bottom and move my way to the top. To keep the sections neat I clip up the hair that I am not currently drying.”

Christmas came early this year! Chico’s today announced that Diane Keaton is the face of its holiday 2011 collection, and will appear in national print and TV ads throughout the fall.

In the ads, shot by photographer Carter Smith, Keaton models some of her favorite pieces from the collection, including leopard gloves and a bright-red coat.

“You know what I like about Chico’s? They are who they are. Individual. (Like me.) And incredibly expressive,” Keaton said in a statement. “Plus, they have all these great pieces to make your own.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with Diane Keaton,” added Cinny Murray, brand president of Chico’s. “Her spontaneity, her wonderful wit and her remarkable eye for individual style are the perfect complements to our brand.” Tell us: What do you think of the ads?

The word on everyone’s lips was “magical.”

Designer Marc Jacobs‘s spring/summer 2012 collection for Louis Vuitton, presented in the Louvre’s Cour Carrée in Paris as a tableaux with 48 models descending on a slow-turning white carousel, left his audience largely speechless, continuing to build word that the designer is destined for Christian Dior.

“It was poetic. Amazing and magical,” Olivia Wilde told PEOPLE. “I’ve seen fashion shows before but this was my first Paris show of this size, this beauty. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life before.”

Uma Thurman, who sat front row alongside beau Arpad Busson, was equally enthusiastic, summarizing the eight-minute show as “magic. Dreamgirls. Serendipity. It was beautiful.”

A dress that nips in along the sides and waist and accents the girls? Yes, please. Stella McCartney’s $1595 bicolour “Octavia” dress – dubbed the “miracle dress” by various media outlets — is popping up on red carpets everywhere, worn by Liv Tyler, Lala Vazquez and most famously, Kate Winslet.

“It’s like retouching your body with a frock,” stylist June Ambrose tells the New York Post. And since it’s made of a sturdy cotton-stretch fabric, “it’s like a girdle, and gives you that svelte silhouette,” she adds. “In my opinion, this is the perfect dress.”

Chanel’s Spring Show Goes Under the Sea

Chanel Fashion Show

Designer Karl Lagerfeld took everyone down to the dazzling depths of the ocean on Tuesday at Chanel’s spring/summer 2012 show in Paris. Having transformed the Grand Palais into a giant white seabed with white shells and sea creatures scattered in between 10-ft.-high coral structures, it was quite a sight to behold.

“When I walked in, I just gasped,” French actress Clémence Poésy told PEOPLE. “I got really excited, like a 5-year-old,” she confessed with a giggle.

The aquatic theme ran through the collection, too: from pearl-encrusted tweed dresses and iridescent sequin jackets to transparent, seaweed-print macs, the models (such as Georgia May Jagger and Miranda Kerr) were even clutching seashell bags and had pearls pinned to their wet-look hair as if they had splashed onto the catwalk from some futuristic island. Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine provided live background music for the ethereal affair, too.
