This month, stars including Holly Robinson Peete, Nancy O’Dell and more are curating for a cause! The women are supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by sharing some of their favorite items on OpenSky.com, a new shopping site that offers goods selected by tastemakers in food, style, health and design.

Visit Peete’s page to see the Kuponya Bracelet from the Leakey Collection (above), or shop O’Dell’s new fave, a ZoN Fitness 65cm balance ball. Proceeds from the sales of those items (and more) will benefit charities such as the Breast Cancer Research Fund, American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

In addition, from today through Sunday, Oct. 9, OpenSky will make a $5 donation to Cancer Schmancer (a non-profit organization founded by actress and cancer survivor Fran Drescher) for every item purchased on the site.

Hailee Steinfeld: Fashion ‘Has Become a Big Part of My Life’

She’s all of 14 years old, but Hailee Steinfeld is already more fashion-forward than many of her peers, thanks to her latest gig as the face of Miu Miu.

“Just going from about a year-and-a-half ago, when I was doing the press for True Grit and the awards circuit and learning about the different designers and getting to wear them, and having Miu Miu be one of my favorites — then having something like [the campaign] come along was really huge for me,” Steinfeld tells Fashionista.com. “It’s been an honor.”

The Oscar nominee — who designed her own dress for the big ceremony — did some print modeling in her younger days, and felt right at home behind the camera when working with photographer Bruce Weber. “It has been so much fun,” she says. “I have had such a blast getting to know everyone that works with the brand.”

Scarlett Johansson Looked ‘Like a Disco Ball’ in ’90s Makeup

Scarlett Johansson knows how to create a dramatic beauty moment. “If I’m doing a red carpet, I’ll usually look to the golden age of Hollywood a little bit, whether that’s Rita Hayworth or Lauren Bacall or later, like Brigitte Bardot,” she tells Stylelist.com. “I like to kind of give a nod to that era; I feel like the red carpet deserves it.”

Where did that inspiration come from? “My mom was very glamorous,” the face of Dolce & Gabbana beauty shares. “I used to sit at her vanity and use her makeup — I know a lot of moms, they don’t really like their daughters to wear a lot of makeup. My mom was always very encouraging, she used to take me shopping so I learned a lot of about makeup application from her actually.”

But these days, her routine is fairly streamlined. “I have sensitive skin, so I use actually just Cetaphil face wash and Clarins moisturizer,” she says. “I don’t wear a lot of makeup during the day.” Naturally, she carries Dolce & Gabbana makeup — like the Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Infatuation and Poetic, plus the brand’s powdered foundation — but she admits she doesn’t tote too many products in her bag.

Lady in Leather: See Rihanna Strip Down in Armani Ads

Rihanna is playing the role of good girl gone bad as the new face of the Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans autumn/winter 2011/2012 advertising campaigns — and she’s amping up the sex appeal with a new video for the brands.

In the clip above, the sultry singer flies solo in the backseat of a car, changing into jeans and a leather jacket while a bodyguard keeps watch. (Trust us, she leaves little to the imagination!) She emerges in her new ensemble, greeting a mysterious man in the elevator and smiling coyly as the doors shut.

Oscar de la Renta Offers Questionable Wedding Advice on ‘Martha’

When shopping for a wedding gown, you’ll want to look at Oscar de la Renta dresses — but you may not want to call on the man himself for advice. That’s what happened on The Martha Stewart Show, in an episode airing Friday, when one audience member asked who she should invite on a gown-shopping trip.

“Not … your mother,” de la Renta told the bride-to-be. “What your mother has to understand is that this is the most important day of your life, that this is something you have been dreaming, thinking of for a long time. It’s not her day, it is your day, and your mother should be very proud.”
