In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is spreading the word about the importance of early detection, and partnering with P&G Beauty for the “Do Something Beautiful” campaign, which will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“Given my family’s experience with this disease, I have supported breast cancer causes for many years,” Hasselbeck, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, tells PEOPLE. “When P&G approached us to be a part of the ‘Do Something Beautiful’ campaign, we were all honored to spread the word about the importance of creating and enacting early detection plans as one of the best ways to combat this terrible disease.”

Tiffany Adding Sparkle to ‘The Great Gatsby’

Tiffany & Co. for Great Gatsby

Leonardo DiCaprio and Isla Fisher will shine even more on the big screen next year thanks to Tiffany & Co. The storied jeweler is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures and Bazmark as the exclusive fine jeweler for The Great Gatsby, a new film starring Fisher, DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire. The cast will glimmer in period jewels inspired by Tiffany’s archives, including one-of-a-kind platinum- and diamond-encrusted bracelets, rings, headpieces and long pearl necklaces created especially for the film. “The Tiffany & Co. archives have proven to be an invaluable resource in looking back at this Golden Era of affluence and fine jewelry,” Gatsby costume designer Catherine Martin said in a release. “The continuing tradition of excellence and exquisite craftsmanship has allowed us to both create and recreate pieces that we hope will do justice to this extraordinary novel.” The Great Gatsby hits theaters on Dec. 25, 2012.

Miranda Kerr Directs Herself in New Images for Rag & Bone

As a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr is a pro at showing skin, but she’s not so used to calling the shots. However, the model mom found herself in the designer driver’s seat recently, directing for the latest rag & bone DIY campaign — a series in which the models shoot their own images.

To capture her photos, Kerr turned called upon two famous faces: fellow Angel Lily Aldridge, who took pictures of her pal in New York (below) and husband Orlando Bloom, who shot images during a family vacation in New Zealand. The photos feature Kerr wearing the “Kensington” skinny jeans, the basic tee in poppy and the round-neck tee in heather gray, plus other pieces by the brand.

Gwen Stefani on Her Trademark Look and Sons’ ‘Horrifying’ Fashion Choices

Gwen Stefani admits it: It’s not easy to look like her.

“The makeup goes on every day,” she confesses in the November issue of InStyle. “Even if I’m not going anywhere.”

The Old Hollywood look is inspired by a mix of muses including Lucille Ball and Marilyn Monroe — “I do my roots as often as [she] did hers” — as well as figuring out what worked at an early age. “When I was 17, my grandmother got me a gift pack with all these different colored lipsticks, and one of them was burgundy,” she tells the mag. “I tried it on and looked in the rear-view mirror and said, ‘That looks good.’ I’ve worn it ever since.”

Being married to a rock star is an added incentive; she often dresses to impress hubby Gavin Rossdale. “It was like my own runway. I thought, ‘You are being such an idiot!’” she admits of trying on five outfits before leaving the house for a date. Apparently, Rossdale is a hard act to follow: “He looks good in everything.”

We already knew Lauren Conrad was a peach, and now, her hair color matches her perky personality. The former reality starlet dyed the ends of her hair peach last week, after asking her Beauty Department readers if she should take the pinky plunge.

The designer (and soon-to-be beauty mogul) Tweeted some pictures of the process Wednesday, showing the results on her website Friday. Her look was inspired by an orange hue she saw on the runway, and jokingly, a peach-haired My Little Pony.

He broods so well! James Franco makes the most of his leading man status as the face of Gucci‘s new Made to Measure service — a personalized sartorial offering for men in search of custom suits.

Franco’s campaign, called “All the World’s a Stage,” was shot at Rome’s Cinecittà by French photographer Nathaniel Goldberg. And the collaboration was natural: Franco has worn several bespoke Gucci suits in the past and sported Made to Measure looks while hosting the Oscars in March.

“James has an innate ability to fuse classic elegance with contemporary style and interpret formalwear in an individual way, true to the spirit of our Made to Measure service,” Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said in a statement. “With Gucci’s Made in Italy tradition and sartorial expertise, personalized formalwear is the ultimate way for a man to express his own style.”
