Keith Urban’s Fragrance Commercial Contest: Get Inspired
Keith Urban needs your help: he has a new cologne, Phoenix, but no commercial to promote the scent. So we’ve teamed up with the country superstar, and we’re asking fans to make their own commercials — with the chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Ellen DeGeneres recently created her own entry — albeit kind of inappropriate! — and Urban’s team has created a few clips of their own, like the one above. The country singer wants to see fans’ most creative videos, demonstrating why Phoenix is the cologne all men want to wear.
Ready to submit an entry of your own? Head to keithurban.net and get started. When you’re set, upload your clip to YouTube (it must be 30 seconds in length and can’t contain any copyrighted material), and fill out the official entry form, which includes a spot to leave a link to your video. We’ll review all of your entries, and narrow the field down to 10 finalists on Nov. 12. Then Urban himself will handpick the best video; that winning clip will hit airwaves as the official commercial for Phoenix!
The winner also receives tickets and airfare to an Urban concert in 2012, plus a Phoenix gift pack including cologne, aftershave, body wash and a wristwatch. Nine runners-up will receive a Phoenix gift pack and two tickets to any 2012 Urban concert date.
