She’s wigging out! After taking some time off to bond with her family — including son Ryder, baby Bing and fiancĂ© Matthew Bellamy — Kate Hudson surfaced in New York City on Tuesday sporting a new hair hue.

The actress, seen on the set of her latest film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, was wearing a curly brunette wig — quite a change from her typical straight blonde locks. But naturally, she made the faux hair look pretty fabulous. Between takes, the mom grabbed snacks with Ryder, and visited with Bellamy. Tell us: What do you think of Hudson’s latest look?

Certainly not her best look. If she wants to hide in the crowd, this might work!
