Rachel Bilson’s New Fashion Collaboration: It’s a Shoe-In
Want to walk a mile in Rachel Bilson‘s shoes? Soon you’ll be able to: the Hart of Dixie star and her longtime stylist, Nicole Chavez, have partnered with Steve Madden and BeachMint.com to launch ShoeMint, a customized shoe-shopping site.
The newest affordable luxury brand in the growing BeachMint family — which includes Kate Bosworth‘s JewelMint, the Olsens‘ StyleMint and Jessica Simpson‘s upcoming BeautyMint — ShoeMint will bow with a winter/holiday 2011 collection featuring Bilson’s signature style and Chavez’s fashion expertise, while embodying Madden’s craftsmanship and design. And just as with the other BeachMint brands, ShoeMint shoppers will receive personalized selections each month matched to their personal style profiles.
“As a designer, I’m always exploring new mediums and footwear is a category I’ve always been very passionate about, especially since I’m only a size 5,” Bilson said in a statement. “More and more, people are shopping for shoes online and with BeachMint, I have the opportunity to design not just the shoes, but the full experience for our customers, which feels more personal and rewarding for me.”
