And you thought New York Fashion Week was a big deal! London Fashion Week is in full swing, and so far, the shows have impressed, offering star-studded front rows, technological advances and even a near-royal visit. Check out some of the highlights from the week’s biggest shows.

Burberry Prorsum

Promising a starry front row at London Fashion Week, the Burberry Prorsum show on Monday (above, left) did not disappoint. Sienna Miller, Kanye West and a current face of the brand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, sat alongside Rachel Zoe, Gemma Arterton, tennis star Andy Murray, singer Paul Weller and photographer Mario Testino at Christopher Bailey’s spring/summer 2012 show in Kensington Gardens. Tribal-inspired print dresses were paired with cropped trenches and raffia caps in a collection that put a handcrafted artisan twist on ladylike chic.

“Oh my God, that was insanity!” gushed Zoe to PEOPLE as she headed backstage. “[Bailey is] amazing. I mean, who else makes a coat like that?” she added, referring to the “reinvention” of the classic Burberry trench.

Ashley Hebert’s New Cleopatra-esque Haircut

Ashley Hebert's new hairINF

She’s all aflutter with a newfound romance, but that’s not all former Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert is proudly showing off. She’s also rocking a new do!

The hunt for new hair began last week, when the star reached out to the Twitterverse for input. “Ok everyone. Need a new hair style… Any ideas?!? Link pics!” she Tweeted. Several days later, she thanked fans for the help and promised she would debut a new look soon.

Not surprisingly, she did! Hebert traded in her longer locks for a shorter, trendier cut, which she debuted on Saturday while out and about in New York with fiancé J.P. Rosenbaum. ”Cleopatra comin atcha! Haha,” she Tweeted of her new Egyptian-inspired look, marked by a darker hue and blunt bangs. Tell us: What do you think of Hebert’s new hair?

Katy Perry: ‘I’ve Adopted the Beyoncé Leg’

Katy PerryCourtesy InStyle

She’s rocked everything from pink hair to candy-coated costumes, but lately, fashion-forward singer Katy Perry has looked to fellow style star Beyoncé for some trend-setting inspiration.

“I’ve adopted the Beyoncé leg,” she says in the October issue of InStyle, in which she flaunts her lavender locks. “When I saw her on tour, she had these glowing legs.” So Perry decided to get to the bottom of those glimmering gams, ASAP. The secret? “They’re Wolford neon 40 tights,” she reveals. “I put them on first, and then over them I wear a Capezio fishnet that has been bedazzled. I do lots of layers. I’m like an artichoke.”

Though the singer, who is inspired by the pin-up girls of the ’40s and ’50s, dons some pretty elaborate frocks, she says it’s ensembles with corsets that are the least comfortable of all her costume choices. “I love how they look, but they cut off my main instrument while I’m trying to get sound out. It can be … interesting,” she shares.

Gossip Girl
Giovanni Rufino/The CW

For years, style mavens have been lusting after the high-fashion ensembles worn by the ladies of Gossip Girl, and now, we’re one step closer to channeling those impeccable styles.

Contemporary label Romeo & Juliet Couture has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Television Group — the producers behind the CW hit — to create a collection of clothing inspired by the show.

Look for embellished tops, bottoms, novelty sweaters, draped chiffon dresses and more that bear a strikingly stylish resemblance to outfits worn by Blake Lively and Leighton Meester‘s characters Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf. But what good is a leather-trimmed skirt without the extras? Never fear: the line’s designers plan to expand to handbags and accessories for spring.

Go Behind the Scenes with Carrie Underwood and Olay

Carrie Underwood‘s squeaky-clean image and girl-next-door charm make her the perfect ambassador for Olay, and in her most recent campaign for the brand, the star helps women dive skin-deep into solving their own beauty mistakes.

In the clip above, Underwood — who has always been generous about sharing her get-glam secrets — sets the record straight about some common skincare blunders. “Before I got involved with Olay, I would just wash my face with a washcloth and a bar of soap,” she says. “What I did not realize was that I was taking off makeup, which is good, but I was leaving behind residue, which is bad.” Now she uses products to exfoliate, and her face “feels soft and clean.”

Underwood was first announced as the North American Global Ambassador for the brand back in fall of 2010. For more information, visit olay.com. Tell us: What’s your best skincare secret?
