Michelle Money and Graham Bunn are teaming up again — this time for a good cause. The Bachelor Pad partners bonded while competing together on the reality show earlier this year and have remained close since shooting wrapped … so close that when Money lost her father, Scott Edward Cartwright, to colon cancer on Aug. 14, Bunn traveled from New York to Utah to support her during the funeral.

“[Graham] was so great and flew out here for my dad’s funeral and was really here for me when I needed him the most,” says Money, who competed for Brad Womack’s heart on the last season of The Bachelor. “He’s been a huge support to me throughout all of this … and having him really be there for me when I needed him has really brought me closer to him as well.”

Now Bunn and Money are partnering up to help raise money for colon cancer research by selling T-shirts through Bunn’s charitable clothing company For Six NYC.

“It’s very simple, but it’s actually a really cool shirt,” Money says of the gray tops she designed with her mother. “I think people will genuinely want to wear it, and on top of that, know that what they’re [wearing] is giving money to an amazing cause.”

Each shirt features the colon cancer ribbon/star symbol and For Six NYC’s trademark “46” in blue — colon cancer’s color. Cartwright’s signature can be found on the bottom of the number four in the graphic.

“‘For Six’ stands for ‘for six different charities,'” explains Money. “Graham and his partners have always donated their money to different pediatric charities, but this T-shirt is very special because it is for my dad and it’s for colon cancer.”

Since losing her father, Money has dedicated herself to raising awareness and research funds for colon cancer.

“That’s where I’m putting all my focus right now: in fundraisers and events and using the platform I’ve been given to really help raise awareness,” she says. “I’m trying to use my frustration and my anger and my sadness as ammunition to really help make a difference in the colon cancer community.”

Six dollars from each $28 T-shirt benefit the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation.

Why is only $6.00 of the $28.00 being charged for the shirt going to colon cancer research if that is the reason she claims that she is making them? Where is the other $22.00 being spent?

Trina on

there are basic costs to buying the shirts and having a printers add the design or logo to the shirt also so that maybe why all the proceeds can not be given. plus they do need to keep some money for the company so they can continue to grow and be able to continue to donate to there other causes

Lynelle,

Because she is teaming up with 46, not all of the money will go to her specific charity. Let’s not be silly here. It’s a non-profit. Really crazy that you’d assume that she’s somehow being sneaky with something that’s so close to her heart. Money has to go back in to paying for the shirts being made, paying the nonprofit’s employees, etc.

She’s not PROFITING from this; she’s doing what she can to make a difference.

Obviously if they were trying to be shady they wouldn’t advertise how much money was going where.
Why always put a negative spin on things. Jeez
