Sneak’er’ Peek: ‘Project Runway’ Contestants Design for New Balance

This season’s Project Runway contestants have already faced challenges involving pet stores and stilts — and they’re only on episode five. But tonight, they’ll continue to hit the ground running by creating apparel to wear with a new Heidi Klum for New Balance lifestyle sneaker — a challenge Klum chose herself.

After meeting at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York City, contestants will receive their task, which mandates that they incorporate two materials used in the sneakers — denim and suede — into their looks. The winning items, along with the Heidi Klum for New Balance shoes featured during the episode, will be sold as part of Klum’s collection on amazon.com/HKNB.

Does a mud mask a day keep the wrinkles at bay? That’s what singer Cher and reality star Bristol Palin appear to be thinking! The two are apparently serious about skincare — and they’re not shy about sharing it.

Bristol Palin Tweeted a playful picture of herself with son Tripp on Wednesday, showing off an expertly-applied mud mask that covered her face, neck and chest.

Meanwhile, singer Cher, who’s no stranger to turning back time, was also hard at work fighting the signs of aging: she was seen in the passenger seat of a car in Malibu, happily letting her face mask dry in the California sun. Tell us: Who do you think wore her mud mask better?

Watch Reese Witherspoon Model for Lindex

She may view high fashion as an art form, but Reese Witherspoon is making casual look chic as the new face of Swedish clothing company Lindex. Witherspoon, the face of the brand’s fall 2011 “California Denim” campaign, shows off some pieces from the collection in the behind-the-scenes video above.

“I have always loved denim and knitted garments that can be mixed and matched,” she shares. “Lindex’s fashion suits my style perfectly and I am very pleased to be a model for the new collection.” And the newly married actress, a fashion pro, even shares a stylish tip. “The secret about fashion that I think every woman should know is … learn what looks good on you,” she says.

When Kim Kardashian walked down the aisle toward her NBA-player husband-to-be, Kris Humphries, she was part princess, part old Hollywood in her custom Vera Wang gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. “Every girl feels like a princess on her wedding day,” Kardashian tells PEOPLE.

But it wasn’t until her hair and makeup were complete that the bride truly felt ready to meet her prince charming at the end of the aisle.

“We wanted to make her an amazing movie star from the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s; like Sophia Loren or Ava Gardner or Elizabeth Taylor,” says Peter Savic, who created Kardashian’s intricate chignon. “She looked very polished. It was classic and tasteful yet exotic.” While Savic had seen the main gown — and he and Kardashian had traded ideas — the two didn’t have any trials. “I just created it that day,” he says.

For his part, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic carried the princess vibe into Kardashian’s cosmetics. “She wanted to look like the most polished and beautiful version of herself,” he says. To prep her skin he used moisturizer by La Mer and By Terry Touche Veloutee concealer under her eyes, giving her a fresh-faced look. Ensuring things stayed put during the long day, Dedivanovic set her makeup with Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose powder.

Mark, David, Kellan: Who’s Sexiest in His Skivvies?

Summer may be winding down, but Mark Wahlberg is raising temperatures (again!) with the news that he’s the latest brand ambassador for fashion label PRVCY. According to E!, the former Calvin Klein model will first promote PRVCY’s denim, eventually expanding into other areas of menswear, including, you guessed it, underwear.

Though it sounds like Wahlberg will be keeping his pants on for this latest endorsement deal, we wouldn’t mind seeing the star in his boxer briefs once again — after all, he did make us blush with his CK campaign in 1992. But this time around, he’d have competition: Kellan Lutz has since replaced him at CK, and David Beckham not only has those those seductive Emporio Armani underwear ads, but his own line of bodywear launching soon at H&M, as well.

Hollywood’s small-screen stars are looking bangin’ these days — and it’s not just because of their sleek summer outfits.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dianna Agron and Cobie Smulders all cut heavy bangs recently, possibly signaling the start of a hair trend we haven’t seen it a while. Hewitt debuted her new look on Thursday at the premiere of her latest film, Café, after taking to Twitter to share her latest style with fans. “Fun, right?” she asked.

Agron’s bangs appeared earlier in the summer, after the Glee star chopped her long blonde locks. “I’ve probably cut and trimmed it six times and it’s changing slightly every time but I love it,” she told PEOPLE in July. Then on Saturday, How I Met Your Mother star Smulders stepped out at an event in Anaheim, Calif., sporting heavy brunette bangs that skimmed her eyebrows — a departure from her usual bang-less look.
