Sherri Shepherd’s Carry On? Her Wedding Dress

Is this her one small bag, or her personal item? Sherri Shepherd toted quite the carry on Tuesday on a flight from New York City, deciding to keep her wedding dress with her in flight.

“Headed out tomorrow 2 Chicago… I’m carrying my dress with me,” the View host Tweeted late Monday. “Hopefully the nice flight attendants will be able to store it-dress is huge.” Though she called customer service to see if her flight crew could accommodate her gown, she ultimately ended up keeping it with her. “May not have had any room to sit but I got my wedding dress on that plane,” she Tweeted.

Shepherd, who got engaged to TV writer Lamar Sally in December, is marrying her “baby” this weekend in Chicago. And though she’s revealed some details of her big day — her cake will be red velvet and her 6-year-old son Jeffrey will walk her down the aisle — the look of her dress, designed by Rivini, has stayed a secret. However, the talk show hostess did admit to lying about her dress size, kicking her into a diet and exercise frenzy last month. “Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] told me to tell the truth but I lied. So I’m going to the gym and starting Zumba tomorrow,” she joked in June.

Work it, ladies! Hilary Duff and Top Chef‘s Padma Lakshmi are breaking a sweat with Jenny McCarthy and Christie Brinkley in Danskin’s new “Move for Change” campaign, which debuts in magazines this fall.

Sporting looks from Danskin’s activewear line, each woman is photographed doing her daily fitness routine: Duff hits the trails; Lakshmi throws punches in the ring; McCarthy practices yoga; and Brinkley dances on stage in Chicago. The hope is that the campaign will show women everywhere that they can easily be fit and fabulous and follow a healthy lifestyle.

“The Danskin campaign is women of all ages — 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s — what they like to do to stay in shape and how they keep fit in mind, body and soul,” Duff said in a statement. And according to Lakshmi, the gear itself is timeless, too. “Danskin is a great brand that we’ve all grown up with,” she added.

To promote its healthy (and helpful) message, Danskin is donating money to each star’s favorite cause, too, including Duff’s Blessings in a Backpack, Lakshmi’s Endometriosis Foundation of America, McCarthy’s Generation Rescue and Brinkley’s Ellen P. Hermanson Foundation.

They’re no strangers to glamming it up on the red carpet, and now, beauties Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde will be glamming it up together as the new global brand ambassadors for Revlon. The up-and-coming actresses will appear in various television, print and digital campaigns beginning in early 2012.

“Revlon recognizes that every woman is multifaceted and magnificent in their own way and the expression of individuality is as important to Revlon as it is to me,” Stone, who has been known to experiment with makeup in the past, said in a statement. And for her, the connection to the brand stems from childhood. “I have been familiar with Revlon for as long as I can remember,” she added. “I vividly recall my mom wearing Revlon makeup and I remember getting to the age when I was finally able to wear Revlon myself.”

We already know they’re stars, but celebrities like Fergie, Lucy Liu and Olivia Wilde are reminding us of their sky-high statuses in celestially patterned dresses from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall 2011 collection.

Fergie, spotted at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, shortened her black-and-yellow dress, which originally fell just past the knees. Liu sparkled in her frock, a high-hemmed number she paired with leggings. And Wilde kept her look totally runway, keeping it simple with black heels and straight hair.

Good girl gone bad? More like good girl gone buff! While unwinding in her home country of Barbados, Rihanna has been flaunting her fabulous bikini body in several sexy swimsuits.

Thursday, the singer — her red hair now blondish-brown — kicked back on the beach with friends while wearing a white string bikini. In between breaks, she cruised on a WaveRunner and did some tubing with her pals.

After performing as part of her Loud tour Friday night, Rihanna hit the beach again on Saturday in a red-and-orange one piece with Bob Marley’s face emblazoned on the front.

Call her fit, fine, fashionable — but don’t call her trendy. Speaking to reporters Sunday night at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Cameron Diaz said her style is all her own.

“I have never been into trends. I don’t understand trends,” she said. “I tried on a dress a few days ago that was like, spring 2012, and I was like, ‘Where are we?’ Why can’t I just buy a dress for summer 2011? That’s all I need.”

Looking chic in an A.L.C. strapless “Astrid” dress (ironically from the brand’s resort 2012 collection), the actress joked that fashion is moving too fast for her. “By the time we get to 2012, I am going to be wearing something for 2013 … It doesn’t really make any sense to me!”
