Kris Jenner Launches QVC ‘Kollection’ for Women 30-Plus

Momager, wife, designer?

Kris Jenner is launching The Kris Jenner Kollection, a ready-to-wear fashion and accessories line set to debut on QVC during Fashion’s Night Out on Sept. 8. The second Kardashian label to join QVC — Jenner’s daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé also sell their K-Dash by Kardashian collection on the network — it offers a variety of affordable blazers, leggings, dresses, T-shirts, tunics and scarves.

“I was inspired by a lifetime of experience and making some really bad fashion mistakes,” Jenner tells PEOPLE of the line. “Once you hit 50, if you don’t get it right by then there’s no hope. What I wanted to do was build a foundation of clothing that people could have forever. Staple pieces and spice it up with some really exciting pieces.”

Although a first-time designer, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians matriarch isn’t relying on her fashionable daughters for advice. “I haven’t asked them one question,” Jenner boasts. “To make it authentic and something that really came from me it needed to be really developed by me.”

Abercrombie & Fitch to The Situation: We’ll Pay You to Stop Wearing Our Clothes

Jersey Shore is a mega-hit for MTV, but some brands aren’t quite as amused by the crazy antics of the show’s fist-pumping, drink-guzzling cast. Tuesday night, retailer Abercrombie & Fitch posted a statement to its website proposing what it called a “win-win situation” to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino: stop wearing our clothes and we’ll give you some cash.

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” a representative from A&F’s brand senses department wrote. “We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”

Sizzling on summer’s red carpet to promote back-to-back big screen adventures, Olivia Wilde’s mane attraction has been her frizz-free flowing locks — complete with fringe flawless enough to inspire us bangs-less broads to go blunt.

Rocking glossy waves for a Nylon bash, the star beauty made a smooth transition to pin-straight strands days later at the Los Angeles premiere of Cowboys & Aliens. The secret behind her silky tresses? “One product!” exclaims hair extraordinaire David Babaii, who styled both of Wilde’s effortlessly chic looks using the only product in his tool kit, Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment. “It defies humidity,” he declares of the restorative hair treatment that, rather than leaving locks greasy and limp, “penetrates the cuticles and makes hair fluffy and light.”

And … Action! The ‘Glee’ Cast Goes Glam for Fashion’s Night Out

Leave it to the stars of Glee to use their voices for something cool. The castmates are serving as spokespeople for this year’s Fashion’s Night Out, and celebrating the new role with a stylish story on vogue.com.

“When Glee started, I had no idea who Marc Jacobs was. In no way was I a fashion person,” says Emmy nominee Chris Colfer. “I did all my shopping at my small-town Target. Now, as Kurt, I get to wear all these amazing things, by people whose names I can’t even pronounce.”

Same goes for Lea Michele, who tells Vogue she would “never wear” a sweater with an animal face, as her character Rachel did on one memorable episode. “When I met Lea, she was only sort of interested in clothes,” explains Glee creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy. “But in the last two years, she’s become a red carpet star. I think what happened is Lea went to an event, and someone said, ‘Oh, you look pretty.’ It was an interesting moment for her.”

Khloé picked purple, and now Kim’s going green! According to a recent Tweet from Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian‘s bridesmaids will be wearing green dresses when they walk down the aisle at her wedding to basketball star Kris Humphries this weekend.

The mini-reveal comes on the heels of the announcement that Kim will wear a gown by Vera Wang on Saturday, just like little sis Khloé did when she married Lamar Odom in 2009.

According to mom Kris Jenner, Kim is “very calm” in these final days leading up to her nuptials. “It’s just her personality. She knows what she wants and she’s very focused on the day and is just enjoying the process,” she tells PEOPLE.
