Kim Kardashian's Three Wedding Gowns: All the Details!

When Kim Kardashian chose family friend Vera Wang to create her custom couture wedding gowns, she knew things would be picture perfect. What she didn’t know, however, was which of the three intricate gowns she would choose to wear for her walk down the aisle.

“I truly, up until two days before [the wedding] could not decide which to wear,” the bride admits to PEOPLE. After seeking advice from friends, family — and of course Wang herself — the choice was clear: Kardashian made her grand entrance in what she calls the “princess look” gown, a ball gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on bodice and train. Along with her Lorraine Schwartz headpiece, she wore a cathedral-length veil with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué at the hem and a lightly shirred blusher layer.

“It was Cinderella,” Wang tells PEOPLE of the overall look. “But Cinderella with a very sexy body. She has a very Liz Taylor or Sophia Loren kind of body and we didn’t want to lose that.”

For the first dance, Kardashian went with something completely different — the gown that ended up being “my favorite,” she says — a sexier, Georgette mermaid dress with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on bodice. The skirt had hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.

And lastly, when it was time to party, Kardashian made her third and final change of the evening into a bias-cut crepe-back satin gown with v-neck and circle skirt. She accessorized all three looks with custom Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Wang summed up the experience perfectly: “It was a wonderful process. The fact that she came to me for having a certain classicism mixed with modernity, I feel very honored.”

It’s obvious that Kim and her family have never been without. They are self-centered, self-absorbed, and do not seem like the type of people who think of those less fortunate. All they think about is promoting themselves and making more money. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Look at their mom, she’s the most money-hungry person I’ve ever seen. Think about it, now she’s trying to turn their younger sister into a runway model. It’s all about the green dollar with them. Are you really surprised that she went over the top with her wedding? It’s all about her! I don’t believe the marriage will last anyway, so that’s money flushed down the drain………..

Excessive much? One fantasy dress should be enough for any bride. Three is just greedy.

It seems like Kim only got married just so she could have an obnoxious over-the-top wedding. The point of a wedding dress is that it’s the one dress that you fell in love with and will always remember. Three is just too much. Please stop reporting so much on her, she doesn’t have any real talents besides being good looking and being able to brand herself.

Wish Kim the very best! I hope that she stays married forever and shows the world that marriage can work. However, she is not royalty and needs to tone it done showing off her wealth. The dresses that Vera gave her she should of paid for. This country is in debt many people who were earning a decent living are broke. I know of a few who have also committed sucide because of losing money. Why! Because everyone wants to keep up with the Kardasian’s and every other celebrity. Young girls are damanding high price bags and from boys. Won’t give a person a chance if they dont have money and when the money goes so do they…Kim K. , Vera and everyone else involved in her wedding tone it down. This is the reality of life!! God is good !!

This level of conspicuous consumption during these really tough economic times is offensive. This girl is NOT American Royalty…yikes. If she is, then as a country we are in a huge heap of trouble. This entitled, daddy’s-girl, wannabe celebrity is nothing but a cultural cancer. Frankly I’m disappointed that Vera Wang took the gig, as I (at least until now) have considered her a designer with a social conscience.

She is far from American Royalty…she is pretty, she is nice, but she nothing more than that…the only reason why i am happy for her is because she has put Paris Hilton in her place…Out side of that neither one of this narcissistic women deserve the pedestal our media has put them on…Both could really change the world by putting time into a real cause other than make up and hair extensions…and I even wear hair extensions… Stop always saying, “Im so excited” about something, broaden your vocabulary and help the less fortunate hands on…. sending money doesn’t cut it… show up and really give back to our society…. you have been blessed by someone or something…pay if forward and bless someone else other than one of your brainless sisters…

I agree that this was the wrong time for such an ostentatious show–they certainly could have donated proceeds of photos to some good cause instead of making millions off the wedding, accepting all the freebies, and generally showing little awareness–which makes them come off as simply greedy.

Hmmm…3 Wedding Dresses. I wonder if she did that with husbands, rings and cars? Always nice to have two extra of everything….when one is as rich as her and with no talent either. But I hope your marriage is blessed with 3 of each kids.

It is such a shame that the Kardashian family choses to host such an extravagant event to celebrate a personal event. I can think of a million or more better use for that money than this ridiculous display- Lets get real- people are starving worldwide!
