Pink lady alert! Glee star Dianna Agron stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday with a bright new hot pink hair hue. The actress — who chopped her hair in May and has since shaped it into a shaggy bob — had just finished a week of promoting her new film, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, and had returned to set with her castmates.

Agron, who told PEOPLE that she hopes she can keep her short locks for the show, joins a growing number of celebrities who’ve colored their hair in recent weeks. Kate Bosworth debuted blue dip-dyed strands last week, after Lauren Conrad started the trend (before that, Conrad had tried multi-colored ends, too). After more than a month of experimentation — she went from black to “ginger” to blonde — Katy Perry stepped out with lavender hair. And earlier this week, Sienna Miller showed off some subtle peach-tinged tresses in Ibiza, Spain.

Not a fan of all the bright colors. I don’t think pink should be a hair color. But, I do like how they are mixing it up and not staying with the same old boring colors. That is just my opinion so don’t bash me for it.

@ava lol…yep, people sure bash on here! I agree that although they’re changing up,which is always fun, i don’t like the pink so much….on her not at all….but some people do look good with it..she seems too goody goody for it, dunno…she’s always dresses so retro ’50s

Okay, really though – I like when people take chances and try out new, fun ideas. I’m not usually brave enough to do it myself, so I appreciate those who don’t take themselves too seriously, especially with hair… which grows back!

While i’m not a fan of the whole head one color look, I LOVE strands of color! I did it a few years back and dyed 1 big chunk of my naturally dark brown hair bright pink! I did it underneath so I could hide it enough at work (they didnt really care) and I think I’m going to go for dark purple chunk this weekend since I work for a more conservative company now!
