All About Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s Romantic Engagement Ring!

Right from the start, Mark-Paul Gosselaar knew what he wanted a dream engagement ring to exude: romance.

“He’s a romantic at heart and he was looking to express it,” says celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who collaborated with Gosselaar, 36, on an ideal sparkler to give to his advertising executive girlfriend Catriona McGinn. “I worked on creating her dream ring for about a month. She had seen a ring of mine and Mark-Paul brought in a photo of it and we started customizing it, finding the perfect stone, showing sketches, discussing the mounting and how many smaller diamonds it would have and really designing it together. It’s rare to find a guy who really wants to find the perfect ring and be so very involved in the process.”

The result was a 3-carat cushion-cut center diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds in a handmade platinum setting, totaling over 5 carats. “He couldn’t wait to propose,” says Lane of the former Saved By the Bell heartthrob, who now stars with Breckin Meyer on Franklin & Bash. “He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams,” Lane continues. “They are an amazing couple. When he talks about her, it is clear that he is so in love!”

I think it is a bit too soon to jump into another marriage. These people find the “love of their life” get married bang out kids, get divorced and then “find the REAL love of their life”
I wish him happiness but still think it is way too soon… His children are young and I am sure still adjusting to the divorce finalized I think in MAY 2011….. What is wrong with dating while….

us “idiots” are not really “idiots” considering that while yes Mark-Paul Gosselaar & his ex have been seperated since June of 2010 their divorce was only finalized 3 MONTHS ago in May!!!! so technically NO the ink has not yet dried on those divorce docs …. to go from one marriage to another in a years time is just sickening! granted Mark-Paul Gosselaar & this chick could stay engaged for a couple years BUT i doubt it!

Sometimes, love happens quickly, especially when each person involved is special as these two are. Mark Paul was stung by his ex wife, and this young lady, I have heard, is wonderful with his children. My congratulations and well wishes to both of them! May their marriage be long and lovely for all involved.

I would love both sides to be happy :) It’s amazing how we all judge and think someone had to cheat or love happens too soon etc. Is there a rule book for love? Seems like Mp and his first wife had a great run. They were young. They have beautiful children and I hope they both get re-married and find there next love in life. A happy Mom and Dad produce healthy and happy children.

Funny how if he was out playing the field or his ex was out jumping from guy to guy. Everyone would say “wow, they should think of the kids stability”..Why are they just dating everyone and anyone? Come on people..back off. Commitment is great. I’m happy for him and I hope his ex-wife finds joy too. Whether it’s too soon or not? who is anyone to say. I know couples and it was love at first sight and have lasted 22 years, and i know couples that dated for 5 years and were divorced a few years later. Does anyone have the right to say who or how soon we should fall in love? Him and his ex-wife are clearly loving parents. I say Bravo.
