Right from the start, Mark-Paul Gosselaar knew what he wanted a dream engagement ring to exude: romance.

“He’s a romantic at heart and he was looking to express it,” says celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who collaborated with Gosselaar, 36, on an ideal sparkler to give to his advertising executive girlfriend Catriona McGinn. “I worked on creating her dream ring for about a month. She had seen a ring of mine and Mark-Paul brought in a photo of it and we started customizing it, finding the perfect stone, showing sketches, discussing the mounting and how many smaller diamonds it would have and really designing it together. It’s rare to find a guy who really wants to find the perfect ring and be so very involved in the process.”

The result was a 3-carat cushion-cut center diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds in a handmade platinum setting, totaling over 5 carats. “He couldn’t wait to propose,” says Lane of the former Saved By the Bell heartthrob, who now stars with Breckin Meyer on Franklin & Bash. “He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams,” Lane continues. “They are an amazing couple. When he talks about her, it is clear that he is so in love!”

Hey Maddie, how about paying close attention to my post, which says: “In my opinion, that’s still to soon for him to take another marital leap but, that’s his business.” I neither brow-beat him nor call him any horrible names. I have the right to voice my opinion and you have the right to disagree with it. However, you should take some time to educate yourself on the difference between the two; and while you’re at it…grow up…act your age not your shoe size Maddie; it’s not that serious.

I’ll never understand how these people move on so quickly after ending relationships. And, I’m sure his ex, whom he was married to for a long time, is thrilled to hear that this new woman is the woman of his dreams. That’s pretty low, Preppy.

Gosselaar, 36, whose divorce from Lisa Ann Russell was finalized in May.
WOW Dude isn’t it a little to fast. 3 months later? You have kids man.

He brought in a picture of one of Lane’s rings that she had seen. Finding the center stone and deciding just how many side stones isn’t really “designing” a ring in my opinion.

The thing that bothers me about all of these “celebrity” remarriages is the man saying “I’ve met the love of my life.” What does that say to your kids about their mother????

There is nothing more romantic than designing an engagement ring three months after your divorce is final. Wish I could bag me a winner like that.

His wife cheated on him with Jeff Probst and went to an awards show with him WEEKS after she and Mark were separated. I’m sure MPG is thrilled and excited to be with someone who loves him back. Get the facts before passing judgement people!

just my thought on it on

why does it not dawn on some that he could have been screwing this woman for years. He couldnt propose cause he was still in the 14 pretend he loves her marriage. so if he has found the woman of his dreams good for him cause some people never find that person. He was smart to get out instead of wasting his time and his ex wifes time to. They look like a better match anyway. Hope he stays happy and in love with this one.

personally I would love to have this ring it is simple but lovely. Just not this ring from him.

I feel so sorry for his wife – it’s hard enough going through this kind of thing in private – imagine having to endure the public humiliation of getting divorced and having your cable TV “star” husband parade his new bimbo around on the red carpet with your kids there and, ugh, how DECLASSE. BOO – MPG.
