Check Out Lauren Conrad’s Colorful New Hair!

Just one month after Lauren Conrad went back to blonde, she’s changing her hair color on us again. The former reality starlet added pink, purple, green and blue to the ends of her tresses over the weekend, sharing the results on her new style site, The Beauty Department. “You voted and I did it,” she wrote to fans, referencing a poll she posted days before. “Thanks for playing.” Conrad — whose fans voted 60 percent to 40 percent in favor of the new hues — did a similar poll when debating whether or not to go from brunette to blonde earlier this year. Though the change is a big departure from the newly single star’s usual straight-and-narrow way of self-styling, we have to say her hair looks pretty cool! Tell us: What do you think of Conrad’s latest hair update?

Charlene Wittstock’s Custom Wedding Gown: All the Details!

When Charlene Wittstock walked down the aisle in Monaco on Saturday, her “something new” was something stunning: a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The now-princess wore a gown made of off-white silk duchesse satin, with a long train and crossover detail on the front and back which formed a second “à l’andrienne” train. The front of the dress, trim and train were embellished with floral embroidery crafted with Swarovski crystals and mother of pearl teardrops in white and gold hues. “The idea was to go for a completely modern look, without any obvious sense of nostalgia or revivalism,” Armani — who also dressed Wittstock’s father and brothers, plus several other wedding guests — said in a release. “I felt this was appropriate given that there would inevitably be comparisons with Princess Grace, and though such comparisons are of course a sign of admiration, each person has their own individual and unique style, and style is an expression of the times.” Wittstock topped her look with an off-white silk tulle veil, which required 20 meters of fabric and more than 100 hours of manpower to create. At the reception, the bride wore a white gold “Diamond Spray” tiara by Lorenz Bäumer, a delicate crown of 11 encrusted diamond pears weighing up to eight carats each. The headpiece was made to reflect Wittstock’s love of the sea, and according to a release, symbolized a “joyous outpouring of ocean foam.”

Gail Simmons’s Recipe for Beautiful Skin

Gail Simmons Food for Healthy Skin

Top Chef judge Gail Simmons knows how to dish out the best food — for your skin! The Food & Wine editor — and host of Bravo’s Top Chef: Just Desserts — recently joined the Eucerin Skin First Council, which raises awareness of skin care health. So, how can what you eat affect how you look? “My rule is always the darker the color of the food, the better [for your skin],” Simmons tells BellaSugar.com. “That goes for everything from blackberries and blueberries to broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes and cherries. Especially foods really rich in antioxidants like berries: blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and so on.” If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth while maintaining a flawless complexion, Simmons recommends “a little bit of dark chocolate. It has tons of antioxidants in it.” For a healthy glow, the foodie is a big fan of fish. “Fish is really healthy for you, and fish oils and the fat that’s in things like fish are good for keeping your skin moisturized.” Avocado and nuts can help in that way, too. As for her stance on so-called beauty drinks and powders, she says they can probably be skipped. “I’ve seen those drinks that they say are good for your skin. I’m sure it’s just added nutrients, like taking a multivitamin that has extra fish oil,” she shares. “It certainly can’t hurt you, but the truth is that the best way to get your nutrients and keep your skin healthy is to eat real food.” –Caroline Slutsky
