L’Oréal’s Hot New Face? Hugh Laurie

Every man deserves a little pampering once in a while — or if you’re Hugh Laurie, a lot of pampering, all the time. The charming House star was just announced as the newest face of L’Oréal Paris Men, and will appear in international (though sadly, not domestic) ads for the illustrious brand. In the behind-the-scenes clip above, Laurie enjoys a manicure while jokingly introducing himself as Gerard Butler and waxing poetic over the brand’s tagline, “Because you’re worth it.” But in all seriousness, he seems jazzed about the new gig. “I’m very flattered to have been thought a fit subject to promote the idea of beauty,” he jests. “This is a new me.” The actor joins other famous L’Oréal faces including Beyoncé, Rachel Weisz and Gwen Stefani.

Here’s to hoping that Jennifer Aniston likes her men sans scruff! New beau Justin Theroux showed off his clean-shaven face Thursday afternoon at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, where he came to support his girlfriend as she left her handprints in cement on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Before last week, Theroux was seen out and about with Aniston in New York City sporting a full beard, a look he’d been rocking for the past few months (not unlike some other leading men). Though we love the scruff, we’re kind of digging the fresh-faced look, too! Tell us: What do you think of Theroux’s clean look? –Kim Peiffer

Ramona Singer has a shiny new gig: jewelry designer for HSN. After a successful appearance last year, The Real Housewives of New York City star is returning with a new line for the network of what she dubs “affordable estate pieces that don’t break the bank. I don’t care if I’m spending $2,000 or $20,000 or $50,000,” she tells PEOPLE. “I don’t want a trendy piece that, in two years, goes out of style. I want a piece that I can wear for the next 50 years.” Fans of Singer’s line won’t have to pay nearly that much, however; items range from $200 to $1,600, though she says they look like a million bucks. “They’re red carpet pieces,” she says. “They’re wow! Whenever I wear them, people go, ‘Oh my god.’” In fact, she’s loaned them to her Housewives costars Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan to wear at events. Though don’t expect her frenemy Jill Zarin, with whom she repeatedly tangled this season, to be sporting any of Singer’s baubles. “Jill likes to exaggerate,” the reality star, who recently filmed an emotionally taxing reunion special, says. “I think she’s blurring reality with TV. She doesn’t know what’s real or not anymore … I think she’s out of touch, and has too much time on her hands.” On the other hand, Singer says she’s eager to interact with her fans as she sells the new line live on HSN on Friday (from 1-3 p.m. ET). “Who knows my product better than me,” she says of hosting the show. It’s a job she takes seriously — but also seriously enjoys. “I’m having fun,” she shares. “Work should be fun!” –Brian Orloff

Emma Watson made quite the entrance at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere Thursday, stunning the excitable London crowd in a dreamy, light-hued Oscar de la Renta creation. But she wasn’t the only star working a little white magic on the red carpet. Costar Clémence Poésy dazzled in a short, bright dress accented with a black belt and peep-toe heels; Bonnie Wright set off her red hair in a peachy white Miu Miu creation; and Evanna Lynch brought the fun factor in a ruffly white mini. Meanwhile, star Helena Bonham Carter and writer J.K. Rowling found themselves sporting similar motifs, too. Rowling went conservative in a flowery green-and-pink gown by Oscar de la Renta, while Carter — always happy to break some fashion rules — appeared in a long green gown with a flowery pink topper. It was definitely a fashion-forward affair, but we want to know what you think! Tell us: Which star looked best at the Potter premiere?
