Fashion’s Unlikely Fans: Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony

Milan Fashion Week
INF

They’re all-stars on the courts, but this week, basketball standouts Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony were both sidelined — at Milan Fashion Week, that is. The unlikely friends — Wade plays for the Miami Heat (and dates PEOPLE StyleWatch cover girl Gabrielle Union), while Anthony (married to LaLa Vazquez) shoots hoops for the New York Knicks — made the rounds at a series of shows, including Armani and DSquared2, Tweeting as they went. The guys posted pictures of themselves dressed to the nines, shared links (a photo of Wade with stylist Brad Goreski and George Clooney‘s ex-girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, ended up on Tumblr) and gave their input on the runway presentations (Anthony called Armani “EPIC”). But the dapper dudes weren’t the only stars in town: at the Versace show, they were joined in the front row by Glee‘s Darren Criss (in bright pink socks!), Zachary Quinto, True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford. Our invitation to join them must have been lost in the mail … –Kate Hogan

Vote: Would You Wear A Sheer Skirt Like Jennifer Aniston?

Jennifer Aniston Sheer Skirt
Splash News Online

With a rocking body and a covetable wardrobe, there’s no doubt that Jennifer Aniston looks good in anything she wears. But a recent fashion choice left us just a little confused. While strolling through New York City sans current beau Justin Theroux Tuesday, Aniston beat the heat with a super-casual look that included a Theory “Malory” encase tank in warm slate and white linen crepe gauze sarong skirt by Michael Kors. We appreciate the body confidence it takes to rock a skirt that leaves little to the imagination, but does it seem more like a beach ensemble than a look for the city streets? Tell us: Would you wear a see-through skirt like Aniston? –Kim Peiffer

Evan Rachel Wood Chops Her Locks

Evan Rachel Wood cuts her hair
Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage

Short story: Evan Rachel Wood chopped her hair! The actress showed up to the Hollywood premiere of True Blood Tuesday night sporting a modern blonde pixie cut. Wood, who most recently dated Marilyn Manson, accentuated her androgynous new look with a chic gray vest and form-fitting pants accessorized with red suspenders. Want to style your hair similarly? Hair guru Mara Roszak, who coiffed Wood for the event, says to apply Volumactive spray all over the roots of wet hair. Next, blow dry in different directions, off the face, then take a dime-size amount of hard wax, rubbing it between your hands and spreading it through the hair with your fingertips from the back forward. Lay the sides of the hair flat and mess up the top, adding more wax as needed. Twist random pieces, then spray all over with René Furterer hairspray. Wood, a self-proclaimed “free spirit” is no stranger to hair experimentation: she’s been ginger-hued, dark and mysterious and most recently, honey-blonde (though always long). She likes to get people talking, too; when she revealed her bisexuality in April, Wood told Esquire that she thought she was “a little controversial. I just try and keep some mystery, so hopefully people can’t really put their finger on it.” Tell us: What do you think of Wood’s new haircut? –Kim Peiffer
