Kim Kardashian found the man of her dreams in fiancé Kris Humphries. And when the NBA star proposed last month, he popped the question with a sparkler straight out of her childhood fantasies. But while Kardashian’s path to a fairytale wedding may seem simply charmed, her quest for the perfect wedding dress could prove to be anything but. What exactly is the fashionista’s vision for her most important dress ever? “I keep on changing my mind,” the reality star told PEOPLE Tuesday. “I definitely want something custom, and it’s going to take time to get sketches and all of that.” Kardashian may have dreamed of her perfect ring since high school, but her wedding dress appears to be another matter. “There’s nothing really that I saw in [my] mind,” she says. “So I really have to buckle down and just sit and figure it out.” There’s no time to lose for the starlet, who says she’d like to wed this summer. “There’s so much to do that I just feel like, ‘Oh my God, I better get going!’” For now, the bride-to-be is focused on promoting the sixth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which returns to E! June 12, and basking in the afterglow of an engagement trip to Monaco with the Humphries family. Admits the bride to be: “I haven’t even thought of the dress yet!” –Jessica Wedemeyer

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson Collaborate on Tween Clothing Line

Jessica Simpson Creates Tween Line of Clothing
Flynet

She’s helped teens dress for prom, and now, she’ll be helping them dress for everyday life! Jessica Simpson is teaming up with little sis Ashlee to create a line of tween apparel as part of the Jessica Simpson Collection, according to WWD. The new products, available in stores in fall, will be geared to the fashion-forward tween and will feature sportswear, denim and activewear styled after Simpson’s “girly, playful attitude,” the trade mag reports. Knit tops, hoodies, pullovers, striped shrunken knits, graphic T-shirts, drawstring pants, footwear and outerwear will all be part of the collection, with both Jessica and Ashlee serving as co-creative directors for the line.
”Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand,” Jessica tells WWD. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
Ashlee, who has always been a big supporter of her big sis’s empire, agrees. “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.” This marks the first time the sisters are collaborating on a fashion venture. What to wear to one of Hollywood’s most glamorous events, the Cannes Film Festival? While female stars like Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie get to don extravagant couture gowns from Gucci and Versace, most guys settle for basic tuxedos and the occasional linen suit. Not so for the ever-dapper Ryan Gosling, who turned to Salvatore Ferragamo to create a series of retro-inspired looks for his time at the festival. We first spotted his ’50s-cool look in a custom-made Prince of Wales suit, white shirt and two-tone shoes at the Cinema for Peace dinner. The next day, he added a dash of louche glamour to the Drive photo call in a pajama-style, cream-piped navy shirt and matching cream slacks. For the film’s premiere, Gosling turned up the charm in a custom powder blue, two-button tuxedo with a classic bow-tie and patent shoes. Ferragamo Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti tells PEOPLE exclusively of dressing Gosling, “The custom suiting I created for Ryan in Cannes reflects his young, modern, and sexy style while staying true to his inherent sophistication. He is the ultimate Ferragamo man.” And ultimate Cannes fashion plate!

Adrian Grenier Curates Eco-Friendly Sale for GILT Man

When Entourage star Adrian Grenier launched SHFT.com last year, his goal was to bring the best in sustainable product to his readers and fans. Now, he’s moving forward with that mission, curating a two-day sale on GILT that includes some of his favorite eco-friendly apparel and accessories for men. “GILT is good at what they do, and we’re good at what we do, so it made sense to do this collaboration,” Grenier tells PEOPLE. “Our goal at SHFT.com is to reach a critical mass so that all products we love and are sustainably minded will ultimately become less and less expensive. So it’s right up our alley to be able to put affordability and sustainability into the same sentence.” The GILT sale, which runs from noon ET today until noon ET on Friday, includes Simple shoes, a bike from Nirve, Daniel Moyer Designer longboards, Core Bamboo bowls, tables from Alex Artless and casual menswear from Nau. A portion of sales will benefit the Webby award-winning SHFT.com. Grenier says that while he makes a point of purchasing sustainable products, it’s not quite possible to shop in an exclusively eco-friendly manner just yet. “You do what you can, and that’s the reality of where we are,” he shares. “To me, it’s not about being absolute in your life, it’s about making a sincere, dedicated effort to make this meaningful shift in your life. I think as our demand goes that way, designers and producers will, too.” And he’s using his website to help the cause. “My dream is that one day, SHFT.com will be the only site you go to for products, because it’ll have everything you need, and everything will have a sustainable element. So that’s my goal.” –Kate Hogan

PHOTO: Candice Crawford’s Whimsical Wedding Gown

Candice Crawford Wedding Dress

Candice Crawford didn’t need to try on wedding gowns while planning her nuptials to Tony Romo; years before he popped the question, she’d already found the one. Taken by a flowing St. Pucchi gown designed by Rani Totman, the bride-to-be kept a photo of the dress, and ordered it “the moment she got engaged,” a rep for the brand tells PEOPLE. Crawford finally got to wear her dream dress on Saturday, when she tied the knot with her football star beau in Dallas, Texas. Working closely with Totman, Crawford oversaw the alterations of the sleeveless ball gown, which featured a Queen Anne collar and deep-V neckline. Made with 100 percent pure silk duchess satin, the dress’s bodice was handcrafted in a floral pattern and accented with ostrich feathers, rhinestones and crystal beading. Crawford customized her gown with a keyhole back, too, and opted for a draped, voluminous skirt with a detachable semi-cathedral train. Totman, also based in Dallas, says it was “a true pleasure” to work with the young bride. “It was an incredible experience watching the dress come to life on her,” he says. “Candice has a true eye for styles that accentuate her natural beauty.” –Kate Hogan
