Going her way? Amber Heard, the newest face of Guess, is taking a trip back in time for the brand’s sultry fall 2011 campaign. In these just-released black-and-white photos, shot by photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, Heard poses in scenes reminiscent of 1950s and 1960s western film classics, showing off her sexy side in the love story-themed campaign. Wearing cuffed skinny jeans, cropped jackets, knit bustiers and retro-inspired jackets, the actress poses solo and also with model Silviu Tulu, playing the part of a lone cowboy lusting for Heard, a saloon singer. In her new role, Texas-born Heard follows in the fashionable footsteps of former Guess girls like Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith and France’s first lady, Carla Bruni. As the new faces of Carol’s Daughter, Cassie and Selita Ebanks (plus Solange Knowles) have learned a thing or two about beautiful skin. But as it turns out, half of that knowledge hasn’t been acquired during the time they’ve spent in the biz; it’s been passed down from the ladies who know best — their moms! “That woman is like MacGyver,” Selita Ebanks told PEOPLE of her mom at the N.Y.C. Sephora launch of the Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Collection. “She told me to take off my makeup with oil and a warm rag and don’t rub too hard, just very gentle around the eyes.” Her mom’s other top tip? “Before you go in the shower, dry brush from the ankles up and from your arms towards the heart and it helps stimulate the skin, which helps prevent cellulite and sagging skin,” she said. Singer Cassie shared that she learned one of the most important beauty lessons ever from her mom. “She was really big [on] taking care of your skin,” Cassie said of her mother, who always protected herself from the sun.
