Tweeted: What’s Happening with Katy Perry’s Hair Color?

Is it a brand new hue? Or a case of a dye job gone wrong? Last Thursday, Katy Perry Tweeted excitedly about an impending tress change. “tonight I dye my hair a different color… Can you guess which color?!” she teased to fans. The “Last Friday Night” singer has sported wigs and highlights of every hue, so the options were pretty limitless. But Friday afternoon, the star hinted that something may have gone awry. “So I didn’t get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long,” she wrote. “2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS.” Later calling the process an “#epicfail,” she shared, “If I don’t wait 3wks, I’ll end up w/no hair or a #pixie90scutw/abarretteinthefront It’s okay, I’ll get to my secret color(s) soon! #patience.” In the meantime, she hit the pool (in a Seafolly bikini) with husband Russell Brand in Miami on Tuesday, flaunting her new ginger hue. wow, that’s a very unfortunate color, but i empathize. she’s going blonde. my hair looked like that when i was in transition from black to blonde. note to anyone who is considering dying her hair black: its a lengthy and expensive process to undo so think twice!

She’s going back blonde-the color she is now isn’t exactly a color-it’s the tone that happens when you lift black haircolor. They probably glazed it w/ a red tone to look more natural than the horrible orange it actually was. It takes WEEKS to do this and still have hair. Good luck to her colorist-I am a colorist and this is one of our toughest challenges.

I think the color looks nice on her (from what we can see in the pic) Maybe she wants to go back to her natural blonde color or a light brown but it was hard after having jet black hair for years. It must be nice to be a natural blonde just because of how easily you can die your hair another color. But it must be a pain to go back to your natural color :)

Doesn’t matter-she has got to be the WORST “singer” ever. She has no clue how to sing-she just talks/screams like the rest of the garbage out there……Makes me sick when they call these people “singers” when the last thing they do is SING. AND they become millionaires even without talent. Go figure :P
