Candice Crawford didn’t need to try on wedding gowns while planning her nuptials to Tony Romo; years before he popped the question, she’d already found the one. Taken by a flowing St. Pucchi gown designed by Rani Totman, the bride-to-be kept a photo of the dress, and ordered it “the moment she got engaged,” a rep for the brand tells PEOPLE. Crawford finally got to wear her dream dress on Saturday, when she tied the knot with her football star beau in Dallas, Texas. Working closely with Totman, Crawford oversaw the alterations of the sleeveless ball gown, which featured a Queen Anne collar and deep-V neckline. Made with 100 percent pure silk duchess satin, the dress’s bodice was handcrafted in a floral pattern and accented with ostrich feathers, rhinestones and crystal beading. Crawford customized her gown with a keyhole back, too, and opted for a draped, voluminous skirt with a detachable semi-cathedral train. Totman, also based in Dallas, says it was “a true pleasure” to work with the young bride. “It was an incredible experience watching the dress come to life on her,” he says. “Candice has a true eye for styles that accentuate her natural beauty.” –Kate Hogan

I love it! Congrats to the newlyweds! (Now get ready for some football Tony!) ;)

Thank goodness – no cookie cutter strapless dress so sick of that trend! I love the top, bottom is a little too bulky but the article says she opted for a draped skirt. So it was modified from the picture. At the end of the day, all that matters is that they are happy and faithful to each other.

Like others, love it from the waist up..@bb..We’re judging thiso ne, because this is the picture they showed us on here..

The top half is to die for. The bottom is, like so many other people have pointed out, a comforter. She’s such a pretty girl, there’s no need for her to drown herself in all that fabric!

[...] Tony Romo in Texas over Memorial Day weekend, already had her dream dress in mind and ordered it as soon as she got engaged. The dress (pictured, but not on Candice) is beautiful, but it looks really heavy and much too warm [...]
