Current Obsession: Beyoncé’s Curls!

Beyonce's Curly HairAdmedia; Fame; Abaca

Who run the world? Curls! It seems that Beyoncé left the flatiron at home when she visited Europe this week, instead choosing to let her curls coil freely. The singing star got the show going at the Glastonbury music festival in England Sunday, sparkling in a sexy Alexandre Vauthier mini, her hair blowing in the breeze. For a trip to Harrods Monday, she slipped into a curve-hugging tangerine peplum sheath and pumped up the volume in her locks. Then Tuesday, Beyoncé shimmered during a visit to Paris to perform on the X-Factor, her curls falling gently on her shoulders. We haven’t seen Beyoncé go so au naturel in a while — but we have to say we like it! What do you think?

It’s T-Shirt Time for Mary-Kate and Ashley

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen‘s quest for the perfect T-shirt continues. Starting tomorrow, the mini mavericks are teaming up with BeachMint, a curated e-commerce community, to introduce a line of sinfully soft shirts through their new site, StyleMint.com. “There’s nothing better than a simple, chic and versatile T,” Ashley says in a release. “When it’s done right, you just know. That’s what we do at StyleMint.” A follow up to their more aspirationally priced collection, The Row (where silk and modal tops start at $250), StyleMint is the antidote to unaffordable fashion, with looks priced at $30 apiece. And much like the Kate Bosworth-helmed sister site, JewelMint, StyleMint is a members-only, taste-based shopping experience. So, if you like what you see (and are curious about what an Olsen slogan T might say), head over to StyleMint Friday! –Justine Harman

What’s Emma Roberts Wearing This Summer?

Emma Roberts Summer StyleBilly Farrell/BFAnyc/Sipa

We’ve really admired Emma Roberts’s dress code this year. She dazzled during the wintry awards season and looked well suited for spring while promoting Scream 4. But now that summer is in full swing, what’s the Art of Getting By star wearing? Speaking to PEOPLE at a showing of the Salvatore Ferragamo women’s resort 2012 collection in New York on Tuesday, she dished on what she’s loving this season. “I’ve been trying to do a lot of color this summer,” she revealed. “I just bought a bright blue dress from Topshop yesterday that I’m going to wear; I’m into bright colors.” And she’s not picky about the cut, either. “Shorts, dresses, rompers, I like it all,” she shared. Well, except for one particular item. “I’m trying not to wear jeans this summer, which it’s been so hot, I can’t anyways.” As for her summer beauty routine, Roberts is remaining vigilant about protecting herself from the sun. “I usually use Neutrogena sunscreen every day just because when I don’t put it on I get burned in five seconds,” she shared. “So I just always make sure to wear sunscreen every day.” –Karen Sevilla

Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts Pretty Up for Pantene

Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts are making us think that movie-star hair is just a shower away in their just-revealed ads for Pantene. The actresses, announced as the new faces of the brand in May, represent Pantene’s “breakage to strength” and “flat to volume” collections, respectively. “The amount of torture I put my hair through with flat irons, blow dryers and curling irons leaves my hair extremely damaged,” Mendes said in May. “With Pantene I can use all of these tools and still keep my hair healthy.” Watts, whose campaign will depict her without extensions or chemically altered hair, said she’s sticking up for women with fine tresses. “I want to let [them] know that achieving beautiful, voluminous hair is possible without damaging [it],” she added. The stars’ ads will hit print and TV markets in July and August; stay tuned to Pantene’s Facebook page for more behind-the-scenes information, too. Tell us: What do you think of the ads?

Gwen Stefani Thought Fashion Was ‘Stuck Up’

Gwen Stefani in StylistCourtesy Stylist

Growing up in Anaheim, Calif., Gwen Stefani always found fashion elusive. “It was something I couldn’t touch,” she reveals in a recent interview with Stylist magazine. “I’d never even look in fashion magazines because for me, that was just a stuck-up world.” Fast forward a couple decades, and the 41-year-old is a brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, helms a venerable fashion empire and rocks a practically-trademarked look. “It never gets old,” she says of signature crimson lips and platinum locks, which she touches up bi-weekly, “I could do it all day long — I’ve been doing it since I was a little girl.” But much like longevity, identity is easily compromised in Hollywood. “When you start out being on covers of magazines, there’s so much politics,” she explains. “You’re like, ‘Wait, I don’t wear lavender, that’s not what I do.’ That’s the fun thing about success: the freedom you get and people learning to trust you and being inspired by you.” –Justine Harman

Trendy stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Hayden Panettiere and Miranda Cosgrove are taking a fashionable approach to charity! To celebrate the second year of Neutrogena’s Wave for Change campaign — a charitable intiative that makes it easy for teens to give back and support those in need — the leading ladies (and Neutrogena brand ambassadors) have each designed a signature tote bag with a different cause in mind. “My tote bag [right] is benefiting disaster relief projects here in the United States,” Hudgens tells PEOPLE. “It’s cool that you can help others and get a fun, fashionable bag. It was fun to design and it’s the perfect tote for summer to use when shopping or even by the pool or at the beach.” Panettiere designed her tote [left] for environmental charities and Miranda Cosgrove made hers [center] to benefit educational causes. Other stars are getting involved, too — by supporting their famous friends! “Hayden … did a beautiful job,” pal and fellow Neutrogena ambassador Emma Roberts said. “I think I am going to use hers so I can show support for the campaign and also have a great summer tote.” The stars’ Wave for Change bags are available July 1 through Aug. 31 for those who purchase two Neutrogena products at Target. And for every Neutrogena acne, cleansing or cosmetics product sold, the company will donate $1 to GlobalGiving.org — up to $250,000! Visit neutrogena.com/waveforchange for details.
