SNEAK PEEK: ‘Bachelorette’ Ashley Hebert’s First Rose Ceremony Dress

Being the Bachelorette may come with heartbreak, but it also comes with a sexy new wardrobe! New Bachelorette Ashley Hebert has chosen designer Randi Rahm’s evening gowns and cocktail dresses for the show’s “dramatic” rose ceremonies, where Hebert edits down her list of potential mates. For tonight’s season premiere (9 p.m. on ABC), Hebert selected Rahm’s Swarovski crystal-studded “Diamond AB” gown to wear while facing her suitors. “Randi’s looks capture the excitement, glamour and a bit of glitz that makes dressing both fashionable and fantasy,” Bachelorette costumer Cary Fetman said in a release. “Both Ashley and I love the sexy hugs and curves that Randi’s dresses provide.” Known for her use of dramatic colors and sleek embellishments, Rahm has also dressed stars like Beyoncé, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Halle Berry, Fergie and Carrie Underwood. Billboard Music Awards Style: It’s All about the Little Black Dress!

Las Vegas might be known for playing up the glitz and glam, but for Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, it was all about the little black dress. Whether it was super sexy like Selena Gomez‘s cut-out Dolce & Gabbana gown or futuristic like Fergie‘s strap-heavy Hervé Léger by Max Azria Atelier mini, music’s heaviest hitters went for the classic color. Nicole Kidman added a sweet touch with her long lace dress and side braid, while Beyoncé embodied simple elegance in a Lanvin sheath with over 75 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds! Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott skipped the country-favorite gowns for a sleek Mandalay dress with a semi-precious stone neckline. And let’s not forget Kylie Minogue’s heavily embellished Alexander McQueen frock with fringed booties or Britney Spears‘s clean-lined, spaghetti strap Hervé Léger mini. Nicole Richie’s Top Five Summer Style Tips

Nicole Richie knows a thing or two about fashion; she’s the head of her own mini fashion empire and we just love her breezy street style. So when we spoke to her recently at Nordstrom Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif., we had to ask, “What should every girl have this summer?” Richie, who says she designs for “a multitasking woman that likes to have fun with fashion but wears it with ease at the same time,” offered up her top summer must-haves in reply:

The perfect bag. “I would say a good, big beach-bag,” says Richie. “I love the big Goyard bags.” And when it comes to purses, the designer knows a thing or two. Of her upcoming handbag line, she shares, “We have a lot of clutches and different styles … some fun leathers and skins.”

Sweet shades. A great pair of sunglasses is a necessity for the California girl. “I’m wearing my House of Harlow Chelsea ones a lot right now,” she says. “They’re big, huge, huge frames. Those have been really fun, so I’ve been wearing them a lot lately.” To pick the perfect pair of sunglasses, the fashionista says that “it’s important to know what’s good on your face.”

Good tunes. “My iPod is what I need always,” she emphasizes. “I always need my summer playlist.” The designer admits one accessory she lacks is a case for her most important gadget. “I don’t have a cute iPod case … maybe that should be the next step, designing iPod cases,” she jokes.

What’s Kate Bosworth Wearing This Spring?

She’s dazzled us with her chic style and impressed us with her jewelry designing skills. And now, Kate Bosworth is giving us a sneak peek inside some of her favorite fashion finds. The new Cotton spokeswoman is sharing a list of items she’s loving right now as the May guest editor on WhoWhatWear, a celebrity style and shopping site. Bosworth reveals her current must-haves, including a $350 pair of oversized Celine sunglasses she calls “classic, but with an edge,” and a pair of summery Stella McCartney mid-rise wide-leg denim shorts, $515, just in time for the warmer weather. When it comes to dressing for summer soirees, the actress says that “Carven has the best looks for party chic. A little flirty, but in a tomboy kind of way — I find that combination so appealing.” And for dressing down, Bosworth is a fan of the $235 mesh tanks from Isabel Marant (pictured). “I love to layer [them] underneath a dress or top,” she says. “That hint of texture is super cool.” Beyond the jewelry and clothing, Bosworth actually has an unusual choice for her final fave: a good book. For actress Krysten Ritter, finding inspiration for her collaboration with designer Corey Lynn Calter was as easy as “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice”: she simply looked no further than cult cinema. “Basically, every single movie that Winona Ryder was in [in] the ’90s is my favorite movie,” the star admits to the Los Angeles Times of her macabre muse. “This dress is very Beetlejuice.” All proceeds from the $196 girly-goth design, worn by Ritter (above right), benefit Dare to Share, an organization dedicated to at-risk youth. The star, who wanted “something she could travel with and wear with flats or heels,” was also “much more involved than what I expected,” adds an impressed Calter (above center). And though she aspires to create a collection of eight to 10 styles, for now Ritter remains in awe of design professionals. “The fashion in the movie is heaven,” she gushes of an upcoming film project alongside Kate Bosworth, styled by veteran costumer Ilaria Urbinati.
