Kate’s Reiss Dress Sells Out, Will Be Restocked

Duchess of Cambridge Wears Sold Out Reiss Dress
Fame

What happens when the Duchess of Cambridge chooses a $340 dress from a popular British chain store for her first official duty as a newlywed? It sells out that day, of course! Catherine picked the simply elegant “Shola” sheath for her meeting (alongside her new husband Prince William) with the equally stylish Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama. And predictably, when the news spread of her wearing it, Reiss’s website crashed from all the traffic. The retailer has announced that they are re-stocking the sold-out style, but it will be first come, first serve to buy it — no pre-orders are being taken! However, there is a list that will alert you as soon as the style is back in stock in the next five to six weeks, which you can access at reissonline.com.

EXCLUSIVE: The Scoop on Hillary Scott’s Custom ‘American Idol’ Jewelry

When Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott took to the American Idol stage recently, she was wearing something extra special: custom-designed bling. The country star and her stylist, Lee Moore, collaborated with jewelry line Lia Sophia to create a one-of-a-kind piece for her big television performance, where the band debuted their latest single. According to a Lia Sophia rep, Moore and Scott wanted a “jumble of treasure” on the singer’s microphone hand, so with limited time to work, the company took their existing “La Belle Rose Wrapped II Linear” bracelet and switched out the stones to match Scott’s fiery reddish-orange top. The singer ended up wearing several of the linked bracelets on one hand, and Lia Sophia sent her their “Blake” bracelet to add some extra texture and sparkle. The end result? A seriously stylish look! Tell us: What do you think of Scott’s custom bracelet?

Sara Rue knew exactly what she wanted when it came to her hummingbird and butterfly-themed wedding to longtime love Kevin Price on Saturday — and the Shedding for the Wedding host also knew exactly what she wanted to wear for her walk down the aisle! “Sara came to try on dresses with a long list of styles she liked, but the minute she put on the ‘Dahlia’ gown she knew it was the one,” said designer Amsale Aberra of the Amsale strapless silk taffeta ball gown with ruched sweetheart neckline and natural waist the star chose. “The caffe color was absolutely stunning with her red hair and the feminine style of the gown suited her perfectly,” Aberra added. The gown, made with more than 45 yards of silk taffeta, featured a skirt embellished with delicate hand-pleated embroidery from the designer’s Blue Label Collection. Get Beach-Ready With Kim Kardashian’s Best Bikini Advice

Kim Kardashian Bikini Pics
Albert Michael/Startraks

It’s no secret that newly-engaged Kim Kardashian has a enviable body (and an equally enviable engagement ring!) — and we know she works hard to keep it that way, too! Still, the reality star always finds herself preparing for swimsuit season, so she’s in top form when hitting the beach. While chatting with PEOPLE recently at Macy’s in Miami’s Aventura Mall, Kardashian revealed her bikini body secrets — and luckily, they’re not that hard to follow. Here’s what she had to say:

Flatter your figure. “The most important thing a woman can do is select the right bikini for her figure,” Kardashian says. “I am large on the bottom so I prefer a tie bottom because it is adjustable. I pair it with a halter top and a cute wrap because it covers the area with a sarong.” She also recommends asking a friend for their opinion on your best bikini type. “Then take that advice,” she shares.

Get moving. “Work out for several weeks before you hit the beach,” she advises. “[That] will make you look better and give you more confidence.”

Hydrate.“Drink lots of water,” she shares. “It … helps you look younger and healthier.”

Accessorize.“I wear straw hats, jewelry, beaded and wooden bracelets and big hoop earrings,” she shares. “Accessories dress up any bikini and cover-up.”

Get a glow.“I would also spray tan to start of the summer,” she advises. “I love Sally Hansen water resistant spray because the tan looks real.” After the beach, keep the glow going with some shimmering body lotion. “I would use Scott Barnes Body Bling,” she says.
