Catherine Middleton’s Flowery Wedding Day Perfume Sells Out

As Catherine Middleton walked down the aisle in Westminster Abbey last Friday, she smelled like a vase of white flowers quivering in the breeze. Well, at least, her perfume did. The Duchess of Cambridge wore White Gardenia Petals, a scent by Illuminum, on her big day — and already, the fine fragrance is sold out worldwide. The perfume contains notes of coconut, muguet (a.k.a. lily of the valley), ylang ylang, amber wood and jasmine, and retails for $140 (Americans can pre-order at luckyscent.com). Michelle Obama is also a fan of the brand, started by hairdresser Michael Boadi, former stylist to stars like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. “I am both thrilled and honoured that [Kate] chose to wear White Gardenia Petals,” Boadi said in a statement, “as she embodies the fresh, British beauty that inspired its creation.” A rep for Illuminum tells PEOPLE that Kate chose White Gardenia Petals from a selection of fragrances, but why she went with this particular scent was a personal decision. Though that fragrance was just for her, the bride wanted her wedding guests to have a pleasant olfactory experience, as well. The Daily Mail reports that Kate stocked Abbey bathrooms with her favorite scented candles and toiletries from Jo Malone on Friday, giving guests whiffs of orange blossom, grapefruit, and lime, basil and mandarin. When asked for comment, the company played coy, simply stating, “Jo Malone is honoured to have been involved with the Royal Wedding.” –Reporting by Dimi Gaidatzi

Liv Tyler may be impressed with her father’s American Idol judging skills, but as it turns out, dad Steven Tyler is actually the one looking up to his daughter for fashion advice! Liv tells nymag.com that it’s no surprise she approves of her father’s sense of style, because he often draws fashion inspiration straight from her wardrobe. “My dad wears girls’ clothes — it’s so funny,” she shares. “Sometimes I see him and I’m like, ‘Nice shirt!,’ because it’s from my closet.” But regardless of his often-questionable clothes, his proud daughter loves him just the way he is. “I think he’s really handsome. I feel really proud of him,” she says. “I think he’s a really amazing, magical man and all those funny things that he says that people find so strange, my whole life I’ve been hearing them and they make me laugh. And I speak his language; I understand what he’s talking about.” Tell us: Would you let your dad raid your closet? –Kim Peiffer

Will Ferrell Shaves Conan O’Brien’s Beard!

Will Ferrell may be a comedy king, but he wasn’t kidding about giving Conan O’Brien a much-needed shave. Following several weeks spent joking that the talk show host’s beard “offended him,” Ferrell finally took to the trimming shears on Monday night’s episode of Conan and attempted to give O’Brien a clean-cut look. But it wasn’t your typical trim: the star had a few technical difficulties as he was shaving O’Brien’s orange beard. In the clip above, O’Brien claims all the newly shorn hair is going into his mouth — to which Ferrell explains it’s because he only has experience shaving dogs!  At the end of the hilarious segment, Ferrell ends up stopping before the job is done, leaving O’Brien with an uneven half-beard. Whoops! Tell us: Would you let Ferrell shave your beard? –Kim Peiffer
