Beyoncé Creates Cute T-shirts for the ‘Let’s Move’ Campaign

Sporting fashionable ensembles no matter what the task seems to come naturally for Beyoncé. So when she decided to teach kids a few dance moves during a surprise visit to a middle school on Tuesday, she made sure they were styling for the occasion, too! The superstar got a group of students moving on the dance (er, gym) floor when she stopped by for an unannounced visit at New York’s P.S. 161 in Harlem, toting custom-designed T-shirts by her label, Deréon. The visit was made on behalf of First Lady Michelle Obama‘s “Let’s Move” initiative, a campaign aimed at encouraging young children to make healthier lifestyle choices. The black tees, emblazoned with the “Let’s Move” logo, came from a collaboration between Beyoncé, her mom Tina Knowles and the first lady. Though they aren’t available for sale, they will become the official shirts of the growing campaign. It looks like Beyoncé really does have an outfit for every occasion! –Kim Peiffer

Camila Alves on Breaking Beauty Rules

Camila Alves Beauty Secrets
Amanda Schwab/Startraks

Her gorgeous skin, flowing locks and killer body are all enviable — Matthew McConaughey is one lucky guy! — but Camila Alves admits she breaks some beauty rules. “I do one thing that everybody says not to do, but I do it because it works for me,” she told PEOPLE Tuesday at Redbook‘s 2011 MVP Beauty Awards in N.Y.C. “It’s to wash your hair in the night, before you go to bed. People say it’s not good, but it works for me because I have curly hair. I can sleep with my hair up and then it dries, so when I wake up it’s kind of got that nice wave and it’s not too frizzy.” Growing up in Brazil, Alves and her mother used to treat their tresses with avocado hair masks every two weeks. But she has one hair memory that’s not quite so positive. “When I got pregnant with my first child, I thought, ‘I need a change,’” she recalled. She showed her stylist photos of Rihanna and Sophia Loren, and ended up with a short, slightly unflattering cut. “I walked out of there looking like Katie Holmes,” she said. “I like Katie Holmes! But I have dark skin, dark eyes, big lips. I’m growing it out long. If my hair doesn’t look good, I don’t feel good.” Now, Alves feels good almost every day, thanks to a renewed sense of self that came with motherhood. “I wasn’t a big beauty person until I became a mom,” she revealed. “As a model, other people were always putting [makeup] on me. But as a mom, I realized I want to look good every day — and what I have to do with it.” –Reporting by Asher Fogle

EXCLUSIVE: Behind the Scenes with Pantene’s New Faces: Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts!

Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts might not have a lot in common, but one trait they do share? Gorgeous hair. Now, the stunning stars are flaunting their luscious locks as the new faces of Pantene — and we have exclusive behind the scenes pictures! Mendes fronts the “Breakage to Strength” collection, while Watts is modeling for the “Flat to Volume” line. “The amount of torture I put my hair through with flat irons, blow dryers and curling irons leaves my hair extremely damaged,” Mendes said in a release. “With Pantene I can use all of these tools and still keep my hair healthy.” Watts, whose campaign will depict her without extensions or chemically altered hair, said she’s sticking up for women with fine tresses. “I want to let [them] know that achieving beautiful, voluminous hair is possible without damaging [it],” she added. Mendes said that the stars’ photo shoots were totally trick-free. “Each look was natural and never manipulated and my hair looked healthy and beautiful for every shot,” she said. And Watts claimed that her new shampoo did the job she was never able to do: style her own hair. “Since I became a mother, the time I have for myself has shrunk dramatically. So I am thrilled with Pantene because the quality of the products helps me get the volume I want with very little effort at all.” The ladies’ ads will hit print and TV markets in July. Stay tuned to Pantene’s Facebook page for more behind-the-scenes information, too. –Kate Hogan

Marie Osmond’s Wedding Dress: Then and Now

Marie Osmond Wedding Dress
Globe Photos, Splash News Online

When Marie Osmond remarried first husband Stephen Craig on Wednesday, it wasn’t hard to find her something old: she simply reused her original wedding dress. The singing star pulled the Ret Turner gown — long-sleeved with a full skirt (so Catherine Middleton!) — out of her archives, updating it with a simpler veil and chunky pearls. The move wasn’t her original plan — a dress she’d had specially designed for the occasion wasn’t “right,” she tells ET — but it worked out perfectly. “I was cleaning out my garage and all of a sudden this box showed up in this pile of stuff … and it was this dress and it was five days ago. I’m not kidding,” she says. “I can’t breathe, but I’m in it.” Turner, a renowned Hollywood costume designer, actually clothed Osmond in her earlier years while he was working on Donny and Marie in 1977. An Emmy winner several times over, he also served as costume designer on programs like The Sonny and Cher Show and Mama’s Family, and won the Costume Designers’ Guild Award for lifetime achievement — presented by Osmond — in 2002. While Osmond didn’t end up requiring a wardrobe change for her private Las Vegas nuptials, groom Craig, for his part, did swap tuxes; when the couple first married in 1982, he wore white. –Kate Hogan
