Olivia Munn: Why I Chopped My Hair

As Olivia Munn’s star has risen, it seems the length of her hair has come up, too. Once a long-haired comedienne, since January, the actress has been sporting a sleek bob, a style she says was a creative decision. “It was my idea,” she told PEOPLE Saturday night at City Year‘s ‘Spring Break: Destination Education’ event, sponsored by VeeV Açaí Spirit, in L.A. “I just finished a movie with Sarah Jessica Parker and I cut it off for that role. It was my idea, and I thought the character should have short, straight hair. I love it.” For Munn, the cut was a really big step. “I hide behind my hair a lot,” she admits. “I can be social, and talk to people, but it’s hard for me.” Though Munn says she suffers from social anxiety, she says she’s starting to make peace with herself — short hair and all. “I’m getting to a place where I’m very comfortable with who I am,” she shares. “I work really hard, and I know that I’m a good friend, and a good daughter, and a good worker, and at the end of the day, if I’m myself, then I feel like I’ve already won.” –Reporting by Reagan Alexander

Jennifer Lopez: 3-Year-Old Daughter Emme’s Fashion-Forward Already!

Jennifer Lopez isn’t the only fashionista in the house. Three-year-old Emme has picked up a few tips from mom. “When I get ready for work we lay everything out — the pants, shoes, earrings, belts,” says Lopez. “[Emme] does that now in her room.
