Jake Gyllenhaal Shaves His Head!

Jake Gyllenhaal Shaves His Head
NPG

What’s round and cute and shiny all over? Jake Gyllenhaal‘s head! The actor, who usually flaunts quite a head of hair, was recently spotted on the Los Angeles set of his new film, End of Watch, with a totally shaved head. His rep tells PEOPLE that he did indeed lose his locks for the role, in which he and The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Michael Peña play devoted cops. This isn’t the first time Gyllenhaal has shaved his head for a film — he did the same for 2005′s Jarhead — but considering we saw him earlier this month with all of his hair (not to mention a full mustache and beard), it certainly was a quick change. We think the actor looks cute no matter what, but we want to know what you think. Tell us: Do you prefer Gyllenhaal with hair, or without?

LeAnn Rimes’s Wedding Accessories: Old, New, Borrowed and Blue

LeAnn Rimes Wedding Jewelry
GSI

LeAnn Rimes followed the age-old tradition of wearing something old, new, borrowed and blue when she married Eddie Cibrian on Friday night — and she did it in sparkling style. “Old” came courtesy of jeweler Neil Lane: Rimes pinned his $250,000 platinum art deco brooch (it has 25 carats of diamonds!) to the waist of her handmade Reem Acra gown. “It was an absolutely stunning vintage piece and I think it completed the dress,” Rimes — who also dazzled in a pair of Lane’s 10-carat diamond earrings — tells PEOPLE. “New” was represented by Rimes’ most meaningful jewelry yet: three wedding bands — standing for Cibrian and his two sons, Mason, 7, and Jake, 4 — from Cibrian’s childhood friend Brent Polacheck of Polacheck’s Jewelers. “From the very beginning, LeAnn was very expressive about the importance and symbolism of three bands,” Polacheck tells PEOPLE. “His boys are an incredibly important part of their lives and she wanted to incorporate her feelings for them into her rings.” The rose-gold bands with rose-cut pear-shaped and single-cut round diamonds also match Rimes’s 5-carat engagement ring. Polacheck describes the groom’s ring — sandblasted rose gold paved with black diamonds on the outer inside rims — as “sexy and tough at the same time.” To further personalize her husband’s ring, Rimes added an inscription inside: “I love you more.” “Borrowed” came by way of designer Ippolita, who lent Rimes $12,000 worth of her rose five- and two-diamond bangles. Rimes added a modern twist to her look by stacking a mixture of the bracelets — 10 on each arm — for her walk down the aisle. And for the final touch? “I had a blue garter,” Rimes playfully reveals. “And a blue Hanky Panky thong that said ‘I do’ [in Swarovski crystals].” For all the details — and exclusive photos from Rimes and Cibrian’s intimate wedding — check out the new issue of PEOPLE, on stands Friday.Marisa Laudadio

Lisa Loeb’s Eyewear Line: A Clear Vision

Lisa Loeb Eyewear
Janet Mayer/PR Photos

“I was always recognized by my glasses,” says Lisa Loeb. “I liked to find glasses that were a little bit different, where the shape was different and the color was different.” Her love of totally fun frames led the singer — and mom-to-be — to launch her own line, Lisa Loeb Eyewear, in 2009. Now thriving, the collection includes a wide variety of styles inspired (and modeled!) by Loeb herself. She tells PEOPLE that her favorites include the rectangular “Everyday” and wider “Hello Lisa” — “those are the closest to my signature cat-eye style,” she explains — and that shoppers enjoy the Ray Ban-esque “Sandalwood” and whimsical “Wishing Heart” frames. “Most of them have some kind of lift … it lifts your face and lifts your eyes, which I think is important for women wearing glasses,” she explains. Loeb, who’s worn glasses since high school and prefers them to contacts, says it’s most important that her customers feel comfortable and look good in their glasses. “When people feel confident, I feel like they are more themselves,” she shares. And so far, it seems to be working. “People always tell me that when I wear glasses … they’re excited to wear them, instead of being embarrassed that they have to wear them,” she says. “And that’s important to me.” –Reporting by Dahvi Shira

WATCH: The Ladies of Carol’s Daughter Talk Good Hair

As the new faces of Carol’s Daughter, Cassie, Selita Ebanks and Solange Knowles are representing the beauty of multiracial women everywhere. And it’s not just about skincare and makeup — it’s about luscious, sometimes-hard-to-tame locks, too. “From the time I was born ’til probably about 12 years old, my hair was pin straight,” Cassie says in the clip above. “And I prayed every night that I had hair like my mom’s,” which was lush and curly. “As soon as I hit puberty, my hair started to curl,” she continues. “Now it’s going back the other way.” Knowles, who went from a long, straight style to a shaved head to a fro, says she enjoys seeing the reactions to her changing looks. “Cutting my hair … it doesn’t even feel brave,” she says. “To me, [it's] just another outlet of expression. It’s funny to see the social response, their interpretations of what a haircut, what a hair change means.” Hear more from the new hair and makeup models in the clip above.

Beyoncé’s Parisian Tour de Style

In a city known for its sense of style, you really have to dress up to stand out. For Beyoncé, who’s been in Paris with hubby Jay-Z for a week, that hasn’t been a problem. Last Tuesday, the singer stepped out for dinner with Jay-Z at Restaurant 39V, wearing a peek-a-boo dress, patterned pumps and carrying a Jimmy Choo bag. Two days later, after a trip to Disneyland Paris with her nephew, Beyoncé returned to her hotel in a tank, slouchy black pants and boots. Wednesday, she arrived at L’Avenue restaurant in high style, wearing an asymmetrical Isabel Marant dress and strappy Alexander McQueen sandals. For a more casual lunch on Saturday, she accessorized her Rolad Mouret jumpsuit with shades and tousled tresses. And on Easter Sunday, she surfaced on the chic Champs-Élysées in a red and green Marc Jacobs dress. We can’t wait to see what she wears next! Tell us: Which of Beyoncé’s Paris looks is your favorite?
