VIDEO: Victoria’s Secret Models Flaunt New Swim Collection

Summertime is almost here, and Victoria’s Secret is getting us in the mood for the beach by showing off some sexy new swimsuit creations. In the video above, shot by Ben Watts, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel (who recently made headlines for her thin frame) and others sporting a multitude of fun and flirty bikinis parade down the beach in scenic Tulum, Mexico, and splash around in the water, kicking back in their two-pieces. From polka dots and neon colors to tiny ties and ruffles galore, there’s no shortage of hotness hitting this beach in this clip — but then again, would we expect anything less from the sexiest store on earth? Additionally, this summer you can make shopping for suits ever easier with the bikini mixer — an online tool that allows you to mix and match tops and bottoms for a cute, customized look. Is it hot in here, or is it just the swimsuits? Tell us: What do you think of the latest for Victoria’s Secret Swim? –Kim Peiffer

Robert Pattinson Wore 80-Year-Old Underpants in ‘Water For Elephants’

Costumes in Water for ElephantsDavid James/FOX

When Reese Witherspoon began preparing for her role as a Depression-era circus performer in Water for Elephants (which made a strong debut at the box office last weekend), she discovered she had a head start. “She has the perfect figure for 1930s clothes,” costume designer Jacqueline West tells PEOPLE. “She is built the way women were built then.” And prior to suiting up for the circus, Witherspoon did her homework. Says West, “She did a study of the way women carried themselves. The body language was different; posture was different. They moved in different ways.” West kept the costumes on Elephants authentic and era-appropriate, draping Witherspoon’s size 0 frame and size 6 1/2 feet in “glamorous” gowns, shoes and accessories. “She loved the vintage bracelets her character wears,” says West. “She never took them off — they became part of every scene.” For his part, costar Robert Pattinson sported genuine articles from the era, including World War I combat boots and yes, even authentic 1930s socks and underwear. “He loved that,” says West. Added Pattinson: “They help, if you wear them every day!” –Aili Nahas

Cynthia Rowley Unveils Mr. Powers Menswear

Cynthia Rowley Designs New Menswear LineCourtesy Cynthia Rowley

Designer Cynthia Rowley is expanding her fashion empire with a new menswear line. Dubbed Mr. Powers, the Fall 2011 collection, consisting only of tops and accessories, will offer a laid-back, rugged selection of fashion-forward separates like tweed Chesterfield jackets, striped cardigans and patterned T-shirts. Rowley created the line based on the notion that men dress creatively from the waist up. “We’re only doing tops, no pants, because we think everything looks better with jeans — and guys already have their favorite jeans,” she said in a statement. Prices for the collection range from $95-$595; find it in stores and on cynthiarowley.com in late July.

Blake Lively Becomes a Redhead!

Blake Lively Red Hair
Rex USA

Spotted: Blake Lively ditching her blonde locks for a new, reddish hue! The Gossip Girl star stunned at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City Tuesday night, but her gorgeous green Zuhair Murad dress wasn’t the only thing onlookers were talking about. The actress — the new face of Chanel handbags — arrived on the red carpet sporting strawberry-tinged locks. “It’s for the film Hick,” Lively told PEOPLE. “I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair.” Colorist Rona O’Connor transformed Lively’s locks about a month ago, however, the actress managed to fly under the radar following her last public appearance at CinemaCon in early April. So how does she like her new look? “I love it,” she gushed. “I feel like Ariel.” We love Lively’s new hue, but what do you think? Tell us: What do you think of Lively’s red hair? Stars Love Dolce & Gabbana’s White Dresses!

With the royal wedding days away, white dresses are on everybody’s minds — none more so than the starlets who have stepped out in the wildly popular minidresses from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2011 fashion show. The collection was actually modeled on a bride’s hope chest, the designers said at September’s show in Milan; this was evident in the pure hue and delicate lacy details on the dresses, which have become white-hot in Hollywood. Though each dress recalls the other, the starlets put their own spin on them, from Kate Bosworth‘s military jacket and pointy-toe boots, to Anne Hathaway‘s killer platforms and side-swept locks, to Blake Lively‘s chic two-tone cardigan and suede booties. Diane Kruger and LeAnn Rimes let the dress (and their killer legs) shine, adding only simple shoes and sweeping their hair up. All the stars looked sweet and sexy in their Dolce & Gabbana minis, but which was your favorite? –Alex Apatoff
