LeAnn Rimes’s Wedding Dress: All the Details!

LeAnn Rimes was overwhelmed with emotion when she saw her wedding dress for the first time. “When I opened it, I started crying,” she tells PEOPLE. “The dress was stunning.” The handmade Reem Acra gown — which features all-over pearls in a range of sizes and white paillettes on nude silk chiffon — was inspired by another Reem Acra dress that the country star had worn to the 2011 Grammy Awards. “I was definitely a little bit of a sexier bride, but it was still beautiful and sweet,” says Rimes, who describes her dress as “a little bit Old Hollywood and bohemian.” She accessorized with sparkling jewels and Alexander McQueen snakeskin peep-toe heels with an ankle strap. And in keeping with the wedding‘s locale — the backyard of a friend’s home overlooking a Malibu beach — Rimes asked longtime hairstylist Nathaniel Hawkins and makeup artist Troy Surratt to create a “beautiful and simple” look that didn’t compete with her dress. If Zach Braff has been dressing better since he started dating model Taylor Bagley, it’s because she’s been picking out his clothes. When asked who made his suit as he worked his way into Chanel’s Tribeca Film Festival Artists’ Dinner in New York Monday night, he checked the label, conferred with Bagley, then replied, “My girlfriend is telling me Neil Barrett.” In fact, Braff was quite taken with Bagley’s choice in menswear that evening. “Look at these cool Neil Barrett fake suspenders that came printed on the shirt,” he mused, offering up a feel. “It’s cool, right? You’ve got to pay extra for that.” For her part, Bagley was proud — “I did do a little ‘picking out’ tonight,” she shared — and Braff praised the his ladylove’s fashion sense. “She has much better style than I do,” he admitted. Heather Morris Busts a Move for FLIRT!

Heather Morris is flaunting her flirtatious side! In December, the Glee star announced she was heading up a songwriting contest to find the next “flirtiest performer” — one of her duties as FLIRT! Cosmetics’ new style ambassador — and since, she’s found a winner. Corrina Dolan penned the winning song, and recently got to meet Morris and shoot a music video with her, all to coincide with the launch of FLIRT!’s new Luv-a-licious perfume. “I chose Corrina as the contest winner because she embodies the fun and girly spirit of FLIRT! cosmetics and its new fragrance,” Morris said in a release. “Corrina’s video entry was creative, artistic and the song was so catchy. I knew she’d be a great person to collaborate with.” In the video, called “So Luv-a-licious,” the girls stumble upon a fun Los Angeles club and take over, giving Morris another chance to sing — and show off her killer dance moves. Blake Lively‘s red hair may have been the talk of the TIME 100 Gala Tuesday night, but another star hit the carpet with a new hue, too: a noticeably blonder Meghan McCain. “Blonder is always better, for me,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m from Arizona, which is like being from Texas. So I like big hair and blonde hair — and lots of makeup all the time.” McCain, wearing an Alexander McQueen dress, said her stylist Josh Rupley — who was also her date — was the mastermind behind her color change. “He’s been doing my hair since the campaign,” she explained, adding that he understands her primping preferences. “People always want to put in low-lights to make [my hair] look more natural. I am always, like, addicted to bleach.” For makeup, the blogger turned to Karen Dupiche, who works for Sherri Shepherd, too. “I met her at The View, and I just loved the makeup that she did,” McCain shared. Next up for the 26-year-old is a weekend trip to the NRA Convention in Pittsburgh with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. Lauren Conrad Launches a Second Style Website

Is Lauren Conrad trying to take over the Internet? Just one week after launching her super-cute new how-to site, The Beauty Department, the former reality star has unveiled a second site: LaurenConrad.com. Much like Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP, the new community-based site, where users can register and create profiles, offers Conrad’s advice on everything from home decorating and party planning to healthy eating and makeup application. “LaurenConrad.com is more than just a content destination, it allows me to fully interact with my fans and share my thoughts, ideas and passions,” Conrad said in a release. “This community also provides members the opportunity to connect with each other through their mutual love for fashion, entertainment and beauty.” The starlet promises to share some of her personal stories on the site, too, in an effort to inspire and motivate her fans.

When Kate Hudson announced her engagement on Today this morning, she told Matt Lauer she’d kept the big news under wraps for a week because she was “waiting for someone to notice.” But with a ring like this, we’re surprised it took so long! Hudson flashed her sparkler during her segment — she was promoting her latest film, Something Borrowed — and proudly announced that rocker beau Matthew Bellamy had recently popped the question. “It was very sweet,” the actress said, without giving away details. “It was very romantic.” Later on in the day, Hudson and son Ryder strolled into New York City’s Greenwich Hotel, where fans wished her well. “[She] smiled when onlookers outside the hotel screamed and asked to see her engagement ring,” a witness tells PEOPLE. As well they should: the emerald-cut diamond, flanked by two sparkling baguettes, is definitely something to scream about. –Reporting by Mary S. Park
