Saying that Paramore’s Hayley Williams isn’t afraid to experiment when dyeing her hair is an understatement. “I want to try every color,” Williams told PEOPLE Monday at the ELLE Women in Music celebration in Hollywood. “I’ve done a little bit of blue, I did pink, blonde, I did purple, orange.” Although she’s sported a rainbow of hair hues, Williams was working a fiery red at the event, matching her nails and complementing her black-and-white Kimberly Ovitz dress. “I always go back to red because this just feels like me,” the 22-year-old singer explained. “You have to go with your gut every time.” And though Williams is a platinum recording artist in the public eye, she’s not afraid to dye her own hair once in a while. “Not every time, because I like to keep it really healthy, but if I’m feeling it and I want to do it now, I just go get a box at Walmart!” Tell us: Do you try new hair colors?Gabrielle Olya

The collection also includes bold blouses, cropped pants, pleated shorts and skinny jeans, and with the exception of the leather jacket, the entire line retails for $119 or less. When Williamson’s collection was announced, he said it’d “focus on effortless glamour; dynamic prints, loosely structured silhouettes and pops of strong color.” We say, mission accomplished!

24 Hour Trend Alert: Nude-Toned Dresses

24 Hour Trend Alert: Nude-Colored DressesKevin Mazur/WireImage; Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic; Jason Kempin/Getty

When it comes to color, less is more. Or at least that was the case Tuesday evening, when Hollywood’s leading ladies stepped out wearing different versions of nude-toned dresses. Gwyneth Paltrow showed that neutral doesn’t have to be boring when she took the stage at Good Housekeeping‘s Shine On Awards in New York City in a nude sheath dress and matching shoes, perfectly paired with simple makeup. At the same awards show, Heather Graham tried out a similar look, sporting a sleeveless peach number, pretty pumps and bright lipstick. And across the country at the Gatorade G Series Fit party in Beverly Hills, Minka Kelly showed off her curves in a cream-colored cap-sleeve dress (it had a silver zipper all the way up the back!) brightened by a fire engine red bag, heels and nails. We think all the ladies look fab, but we want to know your thoughts. Tell us: Would you try a nude-hued dress? –Kim Peiffer

Elisha Cuthbert’s ‘Happy Endings’ Designer Dishes on Set Style

Six adult friends dealing with love and relationships while navigating their own professional and personal lives. It might sound a lot like Friends, but it’s actually ABC’s new series, Happy Endings, which examines what happens to friendships when a couple splits. Though the subject matter can be touchy, the fashion looks totally fun! In this behind-the-scenes video, the show’s costume designer, Keri Smith, talks about dressing the female stars for their roles in looks inspired by Banana Republic. “It’s always exciting to get the script,” she says. “I love reading it and seeing what the kids are up to.” Those ‘kids’ include 24‘s Elisha Cuthbert, who plays free-spirit Alex. “I love Alex’s character, and I love dressing Alex,” shares Smith, who says the look she created for the role is a mix of urban and bohemian. “[She] loves to wear a lot of ruffly florals and organic jewelry. She’s a little less blingy.” Jane, played by Eliza Coupe, is “more professional,” Smith says, and dresses in a sophisticated style. Then there’s Penny, SNL‘s Casey Wilson, who’s “more the casual weekend gal,” Smith says. “Penny’s great because I think everybody relates to Penny.” We’ll find out! Happy Endings premieres tonight on ABC.

Jennifer Lopez’s Glam Cover Look: All the Details!

Jennifer Lopez World's Most Beautiful Cover

Jennifer Lopez may love being makeup-free at home with her twins, but for her flawless appearance as PEOPLE’s 2011 World’s Most Beautiful cover girl, she had a little help from her glam squad. Makeup artist Mary Phillips began with moisturizer, then applied foundation with a blush brush “all over her face and neck, including on her eyelids.” She followed that with peach cream blush, “beginning on the apple using less product as you go back.” She set the look with a yellow-based powder. Phillips lined Lopez’s eyes in brown, “rimming the whole eye, all the way around.” After applying creamy shadow with a hint of shimmer all over the lid with a touch of espresso color in the crease, she curled Lopez’s lashes and used mascara on both the top and bottom lashes. On her lips, a nude pink lip liner was topped with a peach lipstick followed by clear gloss. As for her famously lush locks, stylist Lorenzo Martin started with freshly shampooed hair, applied a styling serum and blew it dry “with lots of volume, toward the back.” Then he curled big sections with a 2-in. curling iron, pinned them back, and set them with hairspray. After 20 minutes, he pulled the pins out, and, he says, “put her hair upside down and brushed it with a boar-bristle brush. Then I flipped it back, teased it and back-brushed it, then tousled it again to get gorgeous waves.” For more of Lopez’s exclusive interview, in which she sets the record straight on all the rumors, pick up this week’s special issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. –Reporting by Julie Jordan
