Blake Lively Becomes a Redhead!

Spotted: Blake Lively ditching her blonde locks for a new, reddish hue! The Gossip Girl star stunned at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City Tuesday night, but her gorgeous green Zuhair Murad dress wasn’t the only thing onlookers were talking about. The actress — the new face of Chanel handbags — arrived on the red carpet sporting strawberry-tinged locks. “It’s for the film Hick,” Lively told PEOPLE. “I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair.” Colorist Rona O’Connor transformed Lively’s locks about a month ago, however, the actress managed to fly under the radar following her last public appearance at CinemaCon in early April. So how does she like her new look? “I love it,” she gushed. “I feel like Ariel.” We love Lively’s new hue, but what do you think? I think a darker red would have been more complimentary, maybe a dark auburn – but she is definitely better as a blonde. Gorgeous all the way around anyway though and a huge fan!

Natural redheads do it best ;-) Her skin tone is far too dark to pull off the redhead look–I think blonde fits her more than the red.

And-why do people always insist on making the eyebrows + hair match?–No natural redhead has red eyebrows…it’s either very blonde eyebrows/eyelashes–or brown tone (light or very dark).

Most attractive women with long blonde hair don’t look very good with other hair colors/lengths. Sorry to say, Ms. Lively is another case-in-point.

at first look her hair looked shiny and soft, but when I looked at her whole face i realized the color isn’t bright enough, just looks like an average brown and makes her look like an average girl. She’s prettier than that!

Oh well, looks aren’t supposed to matter anyways.

I like Blake Lively’s new Red Hair! Also, Congrats to Demi Lovato’s Friend, Tiffany Thornton, who got Engaged a Couple of Months ago, and it’s nice Demi Lovato will be one of her Bridsemaids!

Blake is a very interestingly gorgeous girl, and I love the coppery-orange red hair she’s sporting! I think it makes her look more exotic, and I’m that she took a chance with such a lovely hue. I was surprised to find this out though, because I thought she would be one of the last of hollywood women to go red. All in all, love the look Blake!
