Do brunettes actually have more fun? Swedish actress Malin Akerman is about to find out. She might be known for her flaxen hair, but at the premiere of her new film at the Tribeca Film Festival presented by American Express, The Bang Bang Club last night in New York City, Akerman made quite a bang herself by walking the red carpet with a hair color that was much darker than her signature platinum color. As much as we loved the lighter shade that she wore alongside Jennifer Aniston in their upcoming film, Wanderlust, who doesn’t enjoy seeing how the darker hue makes over her image? Malin was born in Sweden but came to Canada with her family when she was 2. She was raised in Canada and considers herself Canadian.
