Celebrate Earth Day with Star-Approved, Eco-Friendly Beauty Buys

Today is Earth Day, so how are you planning to celebrate? If you haven’t yet found a way to honor Mother Nature, there are still plenty of ways to do so, thanks to several beauty companies and a slew of eco-conscious celebs. In addition to its tote promotion, Kiehl’s has topped several of its popular products with labels designed by Chloë Sevigny and Michael C. Hall, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the Waterkeeper Alliance. “I personally lead a socially responsible life, so when they asked me to design … I didn’t hesitate,” Sevigny tells PEOPLE. Alicia Silverstone is helping her charity of choice, the Wildlife Alliance, giving them 1 percent of proceeds from her EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone makeup brush and bag line. “I wanted to show women that [you] don’t need to sacrifice style to make environmentally-conscious choices,” says the mom-to-be.
