LeAnn Rimes Helps Twitter Follower Put Her Best Foot Forward

I will only see LeAnn as a cheater and a liar.

A few pairs of USED flip flops and tennis shoes? C’mon LeAnne. If you knew her shoe size, couldn’t you have at least sent her NEW flip flops? Maybe even splurged at Payless? Sorry, I’m not finding anything to woot about here.

flip flops and tennis shoes? yawn. it’s not like she donated any glam heels or shoes she won to a televised event or anything.

Oh please. Out of her probably hundreds of pairs of shoes, she sends this poor woman a pair of USED flip flops and USED sweaty tennis shoes. It’s only newsworthy because it’s so shameful.

Hmm. Its great. BUT. This lady has asked for things from two different famous women? and she is so poor that she has twitter?

Maybe people ate my comment, since it hasn’t shown up yet, but I think some of you missed my original point. I said nothing bad about LeAnn in my post at all. I think it’s great that she is giving her things to people who need them. I just don’t think it is that big a deal–more people should make a habit of this kind of behavior. If you want to praise LeAnn for being so generous, make sure you follow suit.

Yet somehow I am “selfish” for “trying to take her down?” OK.

Some of you are hypersensitive or downright rabid about LeAnn.

Twitter is free. I would hate to think she would try and resell, but that could be the case, who knows? I guess I just don’t think that way, because that is not the kind of person I am. And then again – perhaps she will pay it forward and do something for someone else who is in need!
I guess only time will tell.

Vince and Amy weren’t shunned for dumping their spouses. In fact, Amy had dumped her drug-addicted husband a good bit before she and Vince got together and Vince’s WIFE initiated their divorce proceedings, with him doing everything he could to stop them. What they can’t forgive is people who won’t own up to their mistakes. Vince and Amy still try to pass off their daughter, who was a rather large newborn, as being quite premature. People lost respect for the fact that they didn’t just stand up and admit that Amy was pregnant when they got married and lied about it instead.

It’s the same thing with LeAnn. She has never said anything indicating that she is sorry for wrecking two families, and in fact seems to keep rubbing it in people’s faces. It’s the attitude, not the deed. But she really is not a very nice person, she treated her best friend from high school horribly.

I find it tacky that the lady is hitting up celebrities for their used items. If she has the money to offer her to pay for the shipping cost, surly she can afford to run out to Payless Shoe Source, or Walmart, and buy a pair of cheap Flip Flops and Tennis Shoes. She was probably hoping to score some expensive designer shoes.

I’m all for paying it forward to someone who really is destitute, but loath people who try to work the system for their own personal gain.

I hope the receiver is truly in need since she asked Kim Kardashian also. I would hate to think she has an ulterior motive when so many are truly in need.

How about Peggy asks Leann to sign them, then she can sell them on ebay and use the money for food and baby stuff.

Leann isn’t the one who wrote this story and made it a ‘newsworthy’ item. It’s not like she sent out a press release about it. She responded to a message via Twitter and helped someone out. Good grief, folks. People.com made it a story and you read it. End of story.

Good for Leann for her generosity.
As for the haters; I doubt any of us knows the fine details in another’s life. I have no idea what Leann might or might not have done previously.
Its a shame that a story of generosity was met with so much hate and anger. This being Palm Sunday people might want to reflect on the following story:

They said, “Teacher, this woman has committed adultery. She was caught doing it.”

The lady repeats the same thing to many men and women celebs. First says unemployed lost job then says stay at home mom?????????????? Hmmmmm…
I counted over 30 celebs where she is begging for free stuff and expensive music concert tickets and expensive suites at games. And she boasts about her new expensive phone she got????????

So LeAnn sends old, used shoes to an out of work mom. How does that help the woman feed her 16 month old child? Just asking.

Just think if more celeb’s cared like she or would donate a portion of their income to the poor here in this great country we call home,I’m willing to bet that there’d be much less poor here,and they’ed be benifiting by rewarding those who pay to see them,by lessing the burden on the welfare system..

All you haters and naysayers should really get a life. Its news because it was on Twitter for all the world to see. Its not like she sent the press information on her good deed. Why don’t you all get a life and let her live hers. We all will have to face our maker when our time comes, HE and ONLY He will be judge of all of our actions. All I have to say, is I’m glad that the woman will be getting some shoes and stuff during hr time of need. Now LET IT GO!

With all the money she’s reportedly spending on her upcoming wedding, I would be more impressed if she had bought the woman some new shoes or clothes, or supplies for the woman’s son. Giving away used shoes seems kind of cheap when you have that kind of money. And used sneakers and flip flops, on top of that? Those are among the most germ-and-bacteria filled shoes ever. LeAnn, stop being a cheapskate. Get the woman some NEW shoes, if you really want good publicity.

Maybe the items LeeAnn is donating to her are brand new. We don’t know if she ever used them. I’m sure she has several clothes/shoes/etc. that she has never worn. And yes, I agree that if she has money to pay for shipping and internet service, then she has money to buy a pair of shoes.

Let it go people, you can’t break up a good solid marriage anyways so maybe it was meant to be. I think the donation was nice of her, used or not thats for the woman from Ohio to decide if she wants them, not us!

why is it when someone does something nice for someone, people have such mean things to say, why do they have to put the person down and condemn them for what they have done wrong, I guess they have never stumbled or made mistakes, we all have made mistakes in our life, Life is short we all could use a how sweet, or great ,it is the thought that counts at least she did offer most people wouldn’t do that.
