The wait is finally over: After two years of pure patience, Ashley Tisdale finally scored a coveted Hermès Birkin bag. The star took to Twitter to announce the news Tuesday, sharing pictures of her pretty new purchase. “After two years of waiting the New York Hermes store came through!! Aaahhh!!!!!” she Tweeted. Her color of choice for the infamous bag, known for its notoriously long wait list? A bright cobalt blue. The Hellcats star isn’t the only celeb who’s had to wait in line for her Birkin, but fashionistas like Olivia Palermo say it’s worth the wait, touting it as a pivotal moment when the bag finally arrives. Tisdale joins famous taste-makers like Victoria Beckham and Ashley Olsen, who also tote the iconic purse. Perhaps Anne Hathaway is next? This is such a transparent falsity – Hermes has been desperately trying to keep a lid on the fact that demand has been down so much in the past few years that there hasn’t even been a wait list. And this D-list tw@t is the best they could do to stir market interest? What a laugh!
