No, he’s not going out for the role of Zack Morris in a Saved by The Bell remake; when it comes to the reasoning behind Cam Gigandet’s newly yellow tresses, the man is simply having a (very) blond moment. Arriving at WonderCon in San Francisco on Saturday to promote his new film, Priest, the actor shocked fans with much lighter locks, but the look isn’t for a role. “It was just for fun,” he admitted to MTV. “I just needed something different.” For his tress transformation, Gigandet relied on a pro: “My sister does hair and she’s great at it,” he said of celeb stylist Kelsie. Well, most of the time, he joked. “I think she’s done my hair before and it ended up orange.” As to whether or not Twihards dig it, the jury is still out. “This is kind of the first day that people are finding out, we’ll see,” he said. “Have them vote online.” So, tell us: What do you think of Gigandet as a blond? –Justine Harman
